Any word if Xavier Peters is visiting this weekend? Spivey said he was on his podcast but Abolverdi doesn't mention him in today's article. I really hope we can get him and Quay Walker on campus.

247 site says Peters is visiting, so there's some mixed info out there. Here's Zach's article from today:

Recruiting weekend for Florida
The Gators will host five official visitors this weekend.

The top prospect coming to town is Justin Watkins, a 4-star wide receiver from East Ridge High School (Clermont, Fla). Florida has emerged as the favorite for Watkins after he postponed his decision between Alabama and LSU.

Florida coach Dan Mullen and running backs coach Ja’Juan Seider had an in-home visit with Watkins last Friday. The Under Armour All-American grew up a half hour away from Gainesville and will be on commitment watch this weekend.

The Gators will get their shot with Maryland cornerback commit Noah Boykin and Miami defensive tackle commit Nesta Silvera. Mullen and his assistants conducted in-home visits with both prospects this week.

Florida has a better chance to flip Boykin than Silvera, who has been committed to the Hurricanes for almost a year. Boykin visited other schools during the fall and does not appear to be solid with his pledge.

The Gators will also host a pair of pass rushers from Georgia in Caleb Johnson and Caleb Tannor. Both prospects could play outside linebacker in Florida’s 3-4 scheme under new defensive coordinator Todd Grantham.

Tannor is a former Georgia commit and fresh off his trip to Nebraska, while Johnson officially visited UGA last weekend and has Auburn scheduled for Jan. 26.

UF targets visiting elsewhere
Alabama is hosting 5-star cornerback Patrick Surtain Jr., 5-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere, and 3-star defensive end Malik Langham. Petit-Frere and Langham will officially visit Florida next weekend.

Texas A&M will have 4-star wide receiver Jacob Copeland and junior college defensive end Dorian Gerald on campus. Both prospects are scheduled to visit the Gators on Feb. 2.

Ole Miss is bringing in Apopka linemen William Barnes and Ed Montilus, 4-star wide receiver Tommy Bush, 3-star defensive lineman Fabien Lovett and 3-star tight end Glenn Beal.

The UF staff saw all five prospects this week. Barnes, Montilus and Lovett plan to officially visit Florida, while Bush and Beal are considering a trip to Gainesville.

Florida State plays host to 4-star defensive end/linebacker Andrew Chatfield, and Auburn defensive tackle commit Coynis Miller travels to Oregon. Miller plans to visit Florida on Feb. 2 and the Gators will likely land an official from Chatfield, as well.

Maybe due to too many pre-madonnas?
By "pre-madonnas" do you mean Jewish women that were carpenter's wives before they became the mother of our Lord and Savior? Or do you mean slutty chicks with horrible fashion sense and below average voices that somehow in spite of all that go on to become gajillionaires and mega-superstars?

;) I knew what you meant but that's what went through my mind when I read it and thought I'd have some fun.

I don't know who Tolstory is, but I appreciate the constructive response.

Actually, to my recollection Leo was the original inventor of Lego. But he called them Plastacks - started the whole plastacks industry

Didn’t those teams beat our ass? Don’t we have a losing record against SC since Tebow left? Wake up. You guys sound like that other site who sluprs ass players on the regular. We are putting all our eggs into a true freshman QB basket. He gets hurt then what? Franks? He is going to be good now with Mullen despite the fact that he stinks like s—t? Our best RB coming off a knee injury. Our best OL coming off a knee injury. Bum f—ing ass Fred Johnson is going to probably start again. I like the Van transfer, I like Lemmons potential and I’m a fan of Toney but the rest of them boys are ass. Defense should be a little better so we could make a bowl game but you guys are hyping up a team that hasn’t been to a bowl game in two of the last 5 years

It's a Gator board, widely considered the most negative one. Occasionally someone is going to say something positive about the upcoming season.
