Same things were said about Butters. "He's taken us to back to back SECCG, he need's time to get his players to run his offense" Yadda yadda. Now his azz is gone and we are starting from scratch with Mullen. We go out and hire these middle school coaches because somebody thinks they are the next great young coach and yet they show up and can't handle the big time. This team doesn't play inspired basketball and they clearly don't buy into the coach or having much respect for him. When your team just quits playing the type of ball you have instructed them to play and go off the reservation to do what they want (Chiozza) they are basically saying fk you. BENCH HIS GD AZZ......PERIOD! His T.O's and stupid shots outweigh the occasional heroic finish.

Usually if our shots aren't dropping pretty good we will lose to a decent team. I think KY was the only good win I remember where we shot really bad against a decent team.
I think Coach is too quick to play small ball even when the bigs are struggling some.

Not ready to fire him yet, but I’m seriously concerned after these past few games. He needs to start yanking guys who A) jack up terrible shots, and B) don’t hustle back on defense. The team obviously isn’t responding to his message which is a major red flag. Add in the fact that we have no team identity and the only thing we do well (at times) is shoot 3s 
I swear there are some on here who never would have fired Zook, Muschamp or Mac though. “Who is an obvious better choice” and “It’s never the coaches fault” is getting old to hear. Some accept mediocrity, UF doesn’t.

We go off the deep end with every loss. Its just what we do here. If Gatorchatter existed in the 90s, we would have fired Spurrier just about every year since he didn't win the SEC or NC EVERY YEAR...Spurrier HIMSELF said that 10 wins wasn't enough for the fans...

I'm not ready to fire anybody yet. He'll get the rest of this year and next but let's get back to reality...an NIT this year would be very bad and his seat would be red hot. I thought maybe Foley grabbed a good one but the guy has 1 NCAA in six seasons. That sucks and isn't good enough. You are what you are...people will see this in other sports as well. You can rationalize it and make excuses for someone's results but at the end of the day...you are what your record says you are...

This is entirely false. It's not because we lost.....its the way we lost, the fact we have lost 3 of 4 games now all to bad teams, 2 at home. We keep doing the same crap wrong every game. The team won't listen to White and White won't bench players or play bigs or put in a 1/2 court offense or let them run....there are probably a 100 reasons why we are posting what we are now.
I understand the lack of bigs is a huge pitfall for White to overcome....but 3 losses are directly on his coaching for blowing huge leads by forcing a terrible half court team to play slow ass stall ball and just rode out the collapse. If you look at the season we are complete and utter **** compared to game 3. White tried to drill home the defense and half court game but we just don't have the players for that. We are lost because their identity we do have White doesn't want. Our players are lost and uninterested. At this point he has to let them run and try to out score opponents because that's when they play their best defense

Lee for HC and FF for the head assistant HC. They would make all the right moves with this team no doubt. Probably be cheaper than Mike White too...

Their game-style is easy to take advantage of, and that's because White has built a disadvantageous team. Since White likes going small for the most game-minutes, then he must be practicing the small style the most time. Whereas, insist that all learn to use the players inside, Hayes, Gak, Stone, etc by practicing it the most. Doesn't a smart coach develop specific players' skills by pounding the lessons home in drill after drill. You don't much need coaching for jacking up 3-arch shots. Players can do that solo or loosely in shoot-around fun.
If White is the CEO UF basketball needs then he needs to hire a dynamic "big-man" coach.
But there's the rub: I think such dynamism would be cacophonous to White. It would jolt his transcendental soul. White cannot be practicing these guys on what they need. In-game there is no confident execution, there's too few options players look for, and there's no pragmatic respect for the shot-clock, for where your rebounders are, for spotting teammates' constant hustling-movement (of which they do too little). Seems White has built a mess.
Since all this is not fun to watch, White is not fun to have as coach.

Chiozza probably put in one of the worst of a bunch of bad performances yesterday. I love me some Cheese, but this was not one he will be proud of when they watch film.
