If UF wins the SEC East in 2018, but not the conference, I will be curious to see if those East titles go back up.

Yeeeeaaaahhh..............no.

So glad to see this happen. I'm sick to death of this "But we tried sooooo hard" bull$h!t. It's a great step and a lesson that will help these players in life after football.

Rejoice Gators. Celebrating second place is no longer acceptable and the stench of spoiled Butter is starting to dissipate

Praise the Lord! If the sign told the story it would have been different. Something like "Champion of the bottom feeders." Good riddance. Mullen certainly gets it if nothing else. No more participation trophies.

My first thought when I heard about the bogus "championships" coming off the walls at Florida Field was about something the OBC said long ago. UGA had managed, on a rare occasion, to make it to Atlanta - only to lose. Well the butt-sniffers put up a divisional championship banner to hail their "achievement." SOS said something at the time to the effect of "Celebrating a loss is for losers - we don't do that around here." There he goes again, being the standard setter for a great program - all these years later. I'm proud of CDM for following the same course. I'm liking this hire more all the time. Of course like everyone, I'm looking for results on the field, but I really like what I've seen so far.

Is Mullen going to recall the east championship rings as well?

Mac and Muschamp were both busts. The difference is Muschamp tried. Mac didn't Coach 'em up and didn't recruit. Didn't even try to.

Mac should never get a job again, be it football or flipping burgers.

This is my position as well.

Muschamp put his heart and soul into the job,he just wasn't up to the task
Mac was way too arrogant to ever consider really rolling up his sleeves and immersing himself in the job.

I was happy when Muschamp was let go but I don't really resent him that much.
I despise Mac because he is 100% fraudulent. A complete imposter that should be arrested for theft
