Yep. Thank goodness he wants to be here! It's paying huge divedends. Yall can spin how yall want. No reason at all for us to be 11 spots lower than fsu. None at all

I'll give Mullen the benefit of the doubt that I think he deserves after following f**ktard and the mess he left behind. But I question if we got overly excited with what he's been doing because the bar was so f'ing low that we'd been conditioned not to expect coaches to actually go hard and visit top recruits.

Sure, Mullen hit the ground running and worked hard to overcome obstacles to get a decent class. But what he has done so far is not nearly enough to compete for the top recruits and that is sorely apparent. It's going to take a recruiting machine with cogs and cogs of "assistants" and "gofers". I sure hope he puts one together and soon.

For sure Kirby has a machine at GA.

19th.

Let that sink in.

19th

@BMF

19th

19th ranked player in the state.

Is the highest ranked kid we have. Gouriage.

He needs to close on half the top 20 in the state next year.
Kirby also took over a program from Richt that despite some down years overall was pretty damn successful for a long time...he didn't take over after 2 horrendous coaches that decimated this program. Kirby is obviously showing he is a great recruiter now in his own right and Mullen will have to as well starting next year. I'm cautiously optimistic and like what Mullen has shown so far but he has a lot to prove yet

Activity doesn't necessarily mean results.

Seems like we would have learned that with Muschamp.

The day is not over...yet.

Who could’ve he brought on today that would’ve changed your mind? That we were leading for?

What player did he miss on that’s going to make us pay?

This is the first year with an early signing period. He basically had 2 1/2 weeks to close as much as he could. 95% of the good players are already gone.

I'll answer the question at the end of the day...or maybe Friday.

Isn't FSU getting credit for 3 players that we know won't qualify? They do this every year. Their recruiting rank always get downgraded but no one pays attention to that.

This is fun. The excuses carry over nicely. Despite what kirby did 2 years ago and despite what taggart is doing, this is a transition class. No way possible for us bring in a top10 class. Next year the excuse will be,"it takes time to build relationships". Year three will be "mac damaged the brand ". Year 4 he gets fired and the cycle starts over.

I'm simply addressing the "Kirby 2 years ago" here, because you've mentioned it several times. Just to be clear, Smart inherited Eason, Cleveland, Holyfield and really Nauta as well. He landed a total of 8 guys, including 2 3*s and a Kicker. The only two that were big wins were Hardman and Ridley, and Hardman had been a uga lean the whole process. He landed 2 on NSD, and lost at least one battle when our 3* safety Taylor chose to stay with us.

I'm not disputing anything since then, nor am I denying that they are a huge thorn in our side right now. But his transition class was essentially built for him and not overly special.

And everyone forgets Jefferson and Grimes, and that Russell's career is already over.

So FSU outshines us again on signing day, where have I seen this before? We really need to beat those guys next year. Hopefully this staff brings home a top 5 class next year, but they’re going to have to show they can turn us around on the field first. Kirby is just flat out killing it at UGA, we continue to fall further behind them.

Remember the days when SOS was out recruited, but once the kids got on campus he would "coach 'em up" and beat the snot out of Georgia every year.....Let's hope Danny Boy can coach em up and win some games. Winning cures all ills. Something we havent done in awhile. It will take a few classes to get the train back on the tracks. Like many of you, patience in wearing thin, but what choice do we have? We are Gators in all kinds of weather and enjoy the ride.

Were we not top 10 when mullen took over? Either way doesnt make up for what taggart is doing.
