4 offensive linemen, three of whom are out of state

2 big four star DBs

a QB lots of rivals wanted

a bama legacy DE

including the two transfers - 4 tall four star WRs with high potential

2 excellent RBs - both out of state

2 four star LBs

2 big TEs

#2 kicker

four star athlete in Burney

a walk on qb with smarts and interesting numbers who could play

pretty good under the circumstances. best transition class.

I saw the mini-meltdowns that some people were having earlier. I'm not sure y'all realize just how bad the Gators brand has been destroyed under Muschamp and Mac...

All things considered, this was an outstanding transition class. We all know what happens on the field matters most, but Mullen showed that he's got some recruiting skills. Yes, he missed on a few, but he closed strong. This was the strongest late afternoon signing surge for us that I can remember in a long time. After Mullen has more time to build relationships with the top kids and coaches throughout the state, next year's class could be a great one.

I thought the 2 transfer WR's were 5-stars.

and a big one. they held off signing some guys just to pad numbers. dan's playing the long game here. uga and osu got 26 this year. we'll shoot for something similar in 2019.

Time to give DM and the boys some mid-term grades: Recruiting: B-B+ under "normal" circumstances, after a 4-7 season and the squalor of the last 8 years - A. (not quite a 4.0 but a solid 3.8. Taking charge of a grabasstic free-for-all and rapidly bringing at least some semblance of order to total, mind f'ing chaos: A- (Anything can be better - may revise this upward later if spring goes well with no idiotic crap to speak of). Acting, looking, and representing UF like professional, grown-up, adult people: A (I know, I contradicted my "anything could be better crap", but what the hell). In case it isn't obvious, I'm very happy with the way things are coming together under DM.

Langham is 6'5, 270...

Chatfield came in at his official at 240...

Both can contribute as freshman once they take that into muscle

I must admit that I was not excited about DM being hired. But I am warming up to him. Best transition class ever at UF. EE's are buying in and hitting S&C. I am actually looking forward to spring practice and the O&B game. We are trending up ---- almost forgot what that was like.

I found this interesting. Sorry if posted previously.

And it’s 7th in Rivals’ rankings.

The 247 rankings have a numerical rating system and we are 10th in average rating there.

Tack on the 2 elite WR transfers and UF had the best recruiting cycle of any transition year program.

And the class is balanced depending on where Burney & Dean play. I would have loved 2 elite CBs.
