Hardballs must have been sleeping through the last Michigan vs Florida football games.

Butters: Very happy.
(Butters walks up stairs, kid returns to table with his dad.)
Dad: Well?

I’m still not sure I believe that story. Not that I truly care to defend mac at this point, but it just doesn’t seem plausible. Never mind the foley hiring prowess jokes, does anyone believe saban would hire Mac as bamuh OC with central Florida recruiting duties if this is an accurate example of his people skills?

Not that it matters much. mac is gone, as it should be.

If this weren't the story of one of my best friend's sons, I'd have a hard time believing it, too. But, I promise you it is true.

Saban wasnt Saban when he hired Mac. He was a guy who averaged 4 losses at MSU and LSU and just failed w Dolphins. He also didnt know Mac. Apparently Mac can manage an interview w enough prep time.

What you should be noticing is that Saban just hired an OC and it wasnt Mac.

If you can't beat them, join them

I believe the correct phrase in this case is, "If you can eat em, boink em."

@DK_Thompson: From UF Head Coach to potential WR coach — and his wide receivers vastly underperformed. I’m here for it.

Wow. What an absolute joke. And again, this makes no sense for all parties involved. From Michigan's perspective, McElwain isn't a WR coach! He failed miserably at his last job, and Harbaugh got a front row seat twice to see how inept it was. From McElwain's part...dude, give it up!! You have $10 million (or more) in the bank. Take the year off and enjoy life, stay out of the spotlight, and if you have the itch next year go for it.

“I mean getting relegated 2 position levels at a time, and finding yourself guiding a position of which you have no clue...and yet knowing you’ll be dismissed within a few years...I mean...(**tearing up stoic face**) itn’t that what life’s all about.”

No one ever accused the coach I will not name of having a brain. Maybe his agent, but not what's his name.

Let me ask you, who hasn't listened to McElwain talk and not thought "That man is retarded?" No one.
