He certainly did not leap at the opportunity to land Butters and and wanted him no where near a coordinator job.
Word on the street is he couldn't get his GA to take the position.

Look this stuff happens all the time......a friend has a friend who has a friend that needs a favor.....Harbaugh will probably just tell him to sit down and stfu for one season.....In other words he'll be about as involved as Cheeseburger Charlie was when he was here sitting on coolers and collecting $900K? for a season.....BTW I've heard a pretty strong rumor that Bert may be joining Harbaughs staff pretty soon.....Can you imagine the Big 10 domination they would leave in their wake if that were true???
