Not gonna trash White, it's been a tough year and we still have a chance for good things. He's had some pretty adverse conditions.

Florida lost easily. Gave more fight in the last 30 seconds than the precious 25 min. Just awful game. We continue our up and down season, coaching, and play. Egor, Allen, Hudson, and Chiozza played bad....just bad

Exactly as I said before the game started, on Sunday night no one will be thinking about this game at all. Win the next 3 or 4 and White is a super nova.

J Hud and Egor shot 4-20, can't win like that. Got outrebounded 43-28. Can't win like that. Ark hit about 8 fade away spinning around highly contested 3s with men and arms and legs in their face. Can't win like that. They won't be hot like that again shooting. We have to play better D. Now we get to rest until the NCAA Tourney if we get in.

Go Gators. Currently in LA trying to make my way as a stand up comic, it's difficult, I'll do it though. My point is go Gators, ups and downs, that's a part of being a Gators fan, we've had some good times, and we'll have some more. Waiting on my hook up

I’d personally like to see more lineups with Gak & Hayes, Gak & Bassett, Hayes & Bassett playing together. We did that some vs UK with Gak & Hayes and were successful. We screened Uk to death and actually had the size to compete down low.
Throw Stone/Egor or Hudson at the 3 with Allen and Chiozza rounding out the backcourt and I think we’d have more success (inside especially). Just my 2 cents.

Yep, playing some tall guys is sometimes a good idea in basketball. Apparently Mike White is not a believer in that adage.

We need a coach that can recruit some big men and not allow them to get hurt on the court. We also need a coach that never makes bad decisions or lets his guys miss wide open shots. Ideally our new coach has to win all games and/or has never lost a game.

I see your excuse making has switched from coach Mac to coach white. The fact is white is learning on the job. Both on the floor and on the trail. Outside of Allen and the transfers none of his guys have made any growth. Coupled by the fact that his teams have choked a ton because he tries to be conservative with a lead instead of continuing to run teams out the gym.

I'm not griping over tonight's loss. I'm just looking at bad habits that coaching should have addressed to correct.
1) Missing far too many layups. (other teams aren't missing so many of their layups) If you let that flaw abide then players will avoid driving inward and form the habit of a "may-as-well" jack it up from outside right away.
2) Not squaring your body to the basket before you release the shot.
Coach White, don't let that go on & on. Make your players play sensible basketball. Train the bad out of them.

I did not watch the game and think the tourney has very little to do with the NCAA tourney. But when I read this post, I knew I did not have to read any more. We have said this from the first month of the season. Zone UF, and win the game if we don't make 25+ foot shots. Very simple recipe.

Don't think its that big of a deal. It shows us we better be ready for the tourney and probably just puts as at a 6 seed instead of a 5 seed where there isn't much difference.
