OK, here's the deal. A buddy of mine here is a Texas Tech Grad. Immediately after the game last night, he hits me up about making a wager. A round of golf is on the line. Loser pays for the round. So, if we lose you'll know why. Just putting it out there.

I would have felt more confident about UF winning if either Pat Knight or Billy Gillispee(Kentucky's better Billy in 2008-2009) were still coaching Texas Tech.

I hope they equal or surpass last nights defensive effort.

The "home" game for TT doesn't scare me. We've had some amazing away and neutral site games this year. If our defense plays like it did last night and we shoot the ball decently well from three I think we will win.

Should have made it winner pays for the round. Then the loser actually gets something lol

[Q

They have a top-20 defense in points allowed so it will be a slugfest. We need the defense to come up big as it will be hard for our offense to click.

According Kenpom, TxTech has the 4th best defense in the country in points per possession. Actually TxTech has kenpom numbers very similar to UTn, but not as good on offense as UTn and TxTech played a much weaker out of conference schedule than UTn.

I know two Red Raiders and they’ve both already contacted me. Not sure what to do...

He was at A&M before UK, then went to TT soemtime after UK. Just not sure how long he lasted at T Tech.

Oh okay. did he get hired and then have some health issues, etc. and might never have actually coached there? I remember something like that or something with him.

The Sweet 16 game just got a little easier if we can get there, Haas injured his elbow and is out for the tourney.

Breaking news = Elbow breaking news. Purdue's "big-man" star Isaak Haas out for rest of March Madness.
