Seeing how we squeaked out a loss to LSU last year i think we beat them this year. I also say we beat FSU. The rest idk. 8 wins, 9 wins max. Emory Jones sees more playing time as the season goes

Franks pretty much won the game for FSU this past year with his driskelitis. So hopefully Trask can step in and be competent.

So I was going to say 6 to 7 wins. But our schedule is really, really, really weak.

HOME
Charleston Southern
Kentucky
Colorado state
LSU
Missouri
South Carolina
Idaho

AWAY
Tennessee
Mississippi State
Florida State
Vanderbilt

NEUTRAL
Georgia

Tennessee and South Carolina are probably tossups. But Tennessee is in turmoil just like we are and it’s our birthright to be their asses. South Carolina’s at home.

I'm gonna go with 8-5. I see loses to TN, 24+ point blowout to UGA, USC, FSU, and the bowl game. Then I'll say we finish 9th in recruiting because of size of the class

I don't see us being competitive with UGA for a couple years, they have just to much more talent right now and the gap is only widening

Mullen goes undefeated vs unranked teams and gets one win vs the ranked ones.

7-0 vs unranked and 1-4 vs ranked

8-4

8-4 is most likely (well all of us bitching and predicting 4-8 after our first loss is really most likely).

6-6 is more likely than 10-2. BUT, with some noticeable qb improvement (no realistic idea where it comes from at the moment), 10-2 seems like a best case possibility.

Saddest part about current Gator football is if everything goes right, 10-2 seems like a high-end possibility.

F@$}%*^€£CK!!!

I’m not too old to remember 10-2 being disappointing.

6-6. losses to SCAR, FSU, MSU, UGA, MIZ and Colorado St. Mullen is good for one wtf loss a year til proven otherwise and this team needs a whole lot of talent to fix it. QB, DT, TE, OL, S, are the areas we will be mad the most about due to Mac's garbage recruiting. Bonus prediction: we won't get to 8 wins til year 3. This is a massive rebuilding job Mullen has ahead of him.

The one I think everyone is missing on is the UK game. Their offense will be alive this year and it will be a bad match up for UF in the second game of the season. The FSU game will be a bowl eligibility game for both teams and most likely a toss up. The wild card is going to be whether we get an eligible QB transfer....If not were staring 6-6 or 5-7 directly in the face.....BTW I'm certainly no Trask fan but he most likely is the best we got at this point to start the season but it is only Spring and this will have to be revisited in August when the scrimmages are at full strength. The freshmen's feet may be a dreaded but needed part of the offense it pains me to say.....

Missouri, LSU, and Kentucky are also toss-ups until we become "the Florida Gators" again.

Sure, it's our "birthright" to beat UT....and UK for that matter. But they're still toss ups (literally, Franks tossed up the ball and somehow we caught it and won the game....and UK forgot to cover our WR....TWICE!). UK has a very solid team (for UK).

For some reason, people forget that Missouri beat the living sh*t out of us last year. Brutal, ugly beat down. They return that QB and a lot of that team. They aren't rolling over for the 'mighty' Gators!

I know going through that schedule, if it was 1995 or 2008 - we'd be laughing at how easy it is/looks. Well...Muschamp, Butters, and Foley happened....and we aren't that program anymore. Winning 2 of 4 vs. Missouri, LSU, SC, and UK will be an accomplishment.

6-6 is likely....8-4 and Dan Mullen should be SEC COY!

Kentucky couldn’t beat us through the Mac and Chump years. And we have both Missouri and Kentucky at home this year. We’re not losing to those teams.

If we had those teams on the road, I’d say that they’re tossups. But they are at home.

Ogre is more of a garbage coach than our last two coaches. And they completely screwed the pooch against us last year. That’s our biggest home game of the year. I don’t think will we will have a problem getting up for that game. Particularly with all the drama surrounding it over the last season.

Assuming that we lose our bowl game, and we lose one of our toss up games. That puts us at 8-5 on the year.

It’s possible we could lose a game that we have no business losing as well (like Tennessee) and we could finish the year at 7-6.

I think the only home game that we are likely to lose is South Carolina. And that’s sickening.

In most years, I'd completely agree w/ you. But - Butters....Muschamp....Nord....Nussmeir.....Pease.....Foley.....Mike Kent....Urban's heart attack...Addazio....poor recruiting....blowouts....Franks....2-star QB potentially starting....etc.

This program is truly broken.

And The Swamp ain't "The Swamp" anymore. It's a place "where only Tigers, and Seminoles, and Aggies, and Whatever Georgia Southern's mascot is, get out alive!!!" Basically, it's a joke. Teams aren't afraid to come into the Swamp anymore.

The other thing is, I don't want to put so much pressure on Mullen and this new staff that they HAVE to produce in Year 1. Again, this program is truly broken (not like what Urban Meyer thought was "broken" in 2010). It's going to take time and these teams, especially Missouri and LSU know they can win in Gainesville.

Why do you say we have "no business" losing to Tennessee? If you look at the recruiting rankings and the 'talent on the roster' graphs we're about equal to them. Pruitt brought in a very good staff. We went 4-7 last year.
