8-9 wins...hopefully. Hard to gauge at this early of a junction in the spring...Not sure what to expect from this team until we see them play in the first game. Team has to look better on both sides of the ball and show improved coaching. Go Gators!!

I understand the expectation of mediocrity (or even worse) the misery of the last 8 years has instilled in UF fans. Like the old Doors song goes: "I've been down so damn long, it looks like up to me." Throw that 8 years of shat coaching in with the "average at best" recruiting that has become the norm, and it's hard to expect gridiron glory - any time soon. But it is also wise to remember that the catastrophe that engulfed the program last year was uniquely bad, even for the last 8 years. So, without the benefit of knowing jack about who emerges in the spring, and who falls away, here goes nothing:

8-4, plus a 9th win in a second-rate bowl game. I will amend this after the O&B game, if it seems appropriate to do so.

This team has it's issues, but the schedule isn't that difficult. I think 8-4 is likely but 7 or 9 win seasons are possible.

I really wish I knew. Will a QB step up? Will the oline stop being lousy? Can our secondary produce turnovers? Will we have decent special teams? We have sucked for so long, its really difficult to determine but I think we win at least 8 games...

What's really interesting is rereading the prediction thread from last year; it was full of optimism but this year not so much. Who can blame us? The whole eight times bitten twice shy type of thinking.

The Drunken Twins were writing articles constantly about how proud Butterteeth was of the team he had put together and how the offense was going to explode.

Some people still read that crap and believe that Andreu and Droolie know what they're talking about.

Wrong.....What in Gods name do you see that Moron McButters left here that inspires anything better than a 6-6 record...Yay....we have WR's but in case you haven't been paying attention we have no one to get them the ball....we have RB's but no offensive line....and all of Muschamps defensive studs are now playing on Sunday's....what do you have to say about that?
And furthermore Saban or Meyer couldn't win 9 games with this team....

I think having a real S&C program, coaching, and discipline is going to make a difference that we are going to notice from the very first drive of the season.

Why does everyone like MSU beating us? I know StarkVegas is a difficult place to play because of the incessant torture of the illegal cowbells. But they have a new coach and a new scheme to learn without all the athletes we have. We're gonna win that one.
