I was under the impression that Tagliavoa was in the same frame of mind...

This article says nothing much about the headline. Would we like either or any of out QBs to just settle for being the back up if they could win the job. Neither of their QBs are going to have that attitude. Now graduating in December might make a difference, and having only two QBs is not ideal at all.

In addition if you read the article is looks like a lot of his success in the game was luck. His int reversed by one immediately. His receptions somewhat luck, and not that accurate either. The play calling was very different as well.

I expect them to compete and the better one to win. We would love to have this type of issue.

I’d take this kid in a heartbeat. Tua is the flavor of the month in Tuscaloosa, but Hurts is still a good player. He’s definitely better than any QB we have on our roster. I’m just being honest. I can’t think of a scenario in which a starting QB who has already won a National Chamionship as THE guy on his team and was the starter for most of another season in which his team won the title again was in danger of losing his job. Tua may be better, but Hurts is too talented to ride the pine. I doubt he would be allowed to transfer within the SEC, but I’d take him without hesitation if he were interested in coming here.

Dunno about that. She and I are the same age, and wimmens tend to outlive us gents. Though she does have some "city miles" on her...

Can we make a donation to Bama for him. Or trade some players?

He might just go to the NFL, instead of transferring.

An overbearing bunghole of a father who happens to be a football coach. Been there, done that. Exception here is Saban will tell the father or Hurts quickly to not let the door hit them in the ass on the way out of Tuscaloosa.

Hurts can't throw. He'll be more of a flop in the NFL than Tebow was.
