Not going to knock hm. Seemed like a good kid that never got in trouble. Should’ve never been on scholly at UF, but that’s on the coaches, not him. I remember hearing him talk about UF being his dream school and being really excited in the lead up to enrollment. So, good for him to have had that experience. And it’s not to like it cost us anything. If it wasn’t him, McElwain would’ve just wasted it on someone else.
That said, I’m glad there’ll be an open spot so we can fill it. Best of luck to him.

He was the non-walk on that Mac let Franks pick on on in the spring game last year with 1st team WRs to make it look like Franks wasn't lost like we found out he was during the actual season.

Frank’s prettiest pass in last year’s O&B was over him, I think. You were rather eloquent in your assessment at the time.
I do wish him well. He’s still got opportunity to escape Pahokee for good. I hope he succeeds at least in getting a degree and so on. His announcement is nicely done.

A shift of about 10 more of those out and 10 really good & better would get us there assuming a QB or 2 are in that mix. Look at the change in dynamic adding Grimes & Jefferson. Hammond & Swain as your 3rd-4th option, not so good. But as your 5th & 6th option/depth guys competing for PT and snagging a few balls when the defense is focused elsewhere, they’d be fine.
Do that at QB, OL, LB and S...
And that’s exactly what Mullen is trying to do. In the mean time, they’ll hopefully get the guys we have to play better. But we really need to stay healthy, and CeCe is already banged up.
