Yeah...thats what I said but the people I spoke with said He told the kid and his pops that he would stop him from transferring to UF by any means necessary. Wtf he meant by that I don't know but 2 UF reporters and buddy Martin's fat ass also said the same thing so there's probably something to it!

I look at Burrow and I wonder how he ever landed at Ohio State. He's not a prototypical dual threat by any stretch. He'll fit better in Ensminger's offense.

It's embarrassing. We've got bronzes of three Heisman winning quarterbacks outside the football stadium and not one returning passer on the roster worth a nickel.

Mullen must have a TON of faith in his QBs to not go after Burrow--and publicly state it.
This is what worries me the most.
Getting Burrow and landing Sanders would have been HUGE to building the class we so desperately need--muxh like landing Tebow and Percy in '06.

Franks wouldnt be the #3 at best on the 90s or Creyer era teams and Trash would be a walkon backup scout team holder.

I'd be more depressed if we took that dude. It would feel like the same mess we been doing under Mac. Win or lose, it takes some nads by Mullen to ride with this bunch of QB's. Do think Jones is gonna get a chance.

My thought is maybe he has seen us bring in about 3 grad transfers in a row and doesn't want to continue the trend... it is a shot in the dark... I really have no idea why he didn't pursue.

It's nothing more than the local media protecting the coach. When mullen gets fired in 2 and half years they'll be singing a different tune about this.

Exactly, after so many coaches in such a short time it is hard NOT to notice the local guys are "the king is dead long live the king" types.

This is logical and I thought that too at one time. Alas the NCAA does in fact require a graduate transfer player to be granted a release from the athletic department of the school he graduated from to be eligible to play immediately at his new school.
