I am not sure how good of a QB Burrow is but, I am certain he is better than Franks and EJ. In my opinion us not even talking to Burrow is a big miss for Mullen... I really hope he has some surprises for us at QB this fall.

Unlike many of you, I think Trask is the best QB on the roster... let that sink for how bad MooseDump and Butters recruited on offense...

Or he knows that going after him is not in the best interests of the program, he also might not really be that good either.

You probably right about the local media though. I've noticed over the last several years that they know about alot of issues inside the program yet they don't say $hit until coach gets fired.

I still haven't read the last two pages, so not sure if someone answered already, but he can block a transfer. He blocked all B10 transfers, which is likely why Nebraska wasn't involved. I posted the NCAA rule two or three times in this and other threads.

While he couldn’t specifically address Burrow, Mullen was asked Tuesday night before his speaking appearance in Fort Lauderdale whether anything had changed as far as his interest in looking into a grad transfer QB.

One of the things we do is we look, we evaluate everybody that may transfer as grad transfers and we try to look and say hey, what’s the need, how do they fit our program?” Mullen said. “Are they a one-year or two-year transfer? Yes I think he gets fired that quick. He's already one of the most hated assistant coaches we've had. And I've never seen a fanbase more pissed over a hire except Tennessee with shciano. He's already behind the eightball and he just passed on a huge break. He's turning out to be exactly who we thought he was. I think Stricklin gets the axe next yearf fwiw.

You may be right on mullinz but Stricklin isn’t going anywhere.

There was rumors going around that stricklin hired mullen against the wishes of plenty of higher ups. There's going to be alot of heat when we miss a bowl this year

Unless Mullen's UF teams do so poorly they make us long for Mac, not a snowball's chance he's gone after two. If anything, he gets a longer leash due to his history with Stricklin and the obvious poor shape Mac left the program.

Pretty sure it was marrianna that said they were fighting Stricklin over mullen. Anyhow, you had former players speaking out against the mullen hire. The local radio was on fire with callers who were pissed about it. I definitely don't think we'd fire a coach in 2 years but i do think we'd fire an AD in 3.

I'm already convinced Stricklin is in over his head. But I don't necessarily disagree over hiring Mullen.

Correct me if I'm wrong but dont he have a 12 million dollar buyout? If that the case he will get all 6 years to win 9 games a year and the fanbase will roast Strickland for giving such a buyout on top of paying an average coach 6 million a year.
