That three-year period between Wuerffel's Heisman and the arrival of Grossman was an esp trying period for SOS. I began to wonder whether he was starting to lose it when he started alternating quarterbacks what seemed like every other possession.
Every possession? He went through a stretch where he rotated quarterbacks on every PLAY.

That was SOS at his most unbecoming. It was as if the situation was making him come unglued. He let his impatience get the better of him.

Muschamp may be stubborn, but he's no dummy. I wouldn't yet bet against him becoming a decent head coach. The man can recruit.

You mean the guy that left 6 scholarship offensive lineman for 2015? That guy can recruit?

If he put up his numbers now vs right after Danny and pre Grossman we’d think he was a legend...that’s how ****ing god awful our QB play has been
Hell, John Brantley level production seems unimaginable.

Really? Or was it SOS at his best, doing what he could to get performance out of a kid w a million dollar arm and $0.25 head who needed that much coaching?

No, not really. Neither guy got appreciably better.

I disagree, he was "coaching them up" play by play.
