I'm not one to normally blame the refs, but they were AWEFUL. Reversing the charge was BS, the phantom calls against LeBron and the Warriors no-calls in the last 3 minutes were hot garbage. The JR Smith play should have never happened.
The only part of the block/charge call that is objective is in or out of the circle. He was clearly out. Those idiots with that home cooking BS reversal basically ruined the finals.

The media is such a grandstanding bunch of idiots. Only a few days ago LeBron was approaching the point of catching Jordan as GOAT.

Now suddenly he's the next NBA poster child for futility. Not that Wilt wasn't a great player, but the rap on #13 was always the lack of championships on his resume.

The only player who ever lost a ton of finals and was not “blamed” was Jerry West. Most felt genuinely sad for him.

Russell definitely was not always surrounded by the “best” players.....but nearly always surrounded by the “best” teams. The Celtics of that era played a style of team basketball that really was the blueprint for many very successful teams to follow. From the 72 Lakers, 83 Sixers, 86 Celtics, 87 Lakers, Pistons, Bulls, Spurs, and now Warriors. Team orientation wins.

It’s official. LBJ won’t be able to pass MJ. It has nothing to do with skill. Or wins.

It has everything to do with leadership. Leaders take ownership even if they are not at fault. They don’t put down their heads and give up.

Skill wise he’s only matched by a few.

RE: MJ vs Lebron GOAT debate

BJ is a very heady guy. That's probably the best breakdown comparison of the two that's been attempted.

Still a minute to go but I’m pretty sure this game is over. Kevin Durant with a dagger.

The Warriors pulled this out in spite of the bad officiating.

Not as bad as game 1. But really bad nonetheless.

No Cav free throws at all in the first half.

But bottom line GS is just too freaking good. Durant goes for 43....and 7 other guys score between 8 and 11! They share the ball and everyone contributes.

Lebron had a nice game with 33 and a triple double but his fuel light is on. Playing the entire game (or close) for two series in a row has taken its toll. Still scoring on the drive but looks like he has lost his legs on the outside shot.

He kept giving the ball up in the 4th.

I sincerely do not understand a few things about the Cavs.

First, if Lebron is the GOAT, then why doesn't he take more shots? Lots of drive and dish to players who are consistently described as a poor supporting cast around him.

Lastly, please explain to me why you don't double team Durant when he's killing you and the Splash Bros are having an off night? Even Gundy was clamoring for Durant to be doubled.

Almost seems like the Cavs don't care.....

3-6 in the finals. Ouch. The East is garbage is the only reason he has been to so many finals. If Bronnie was in the West this conversation would be different. I can't argue that huge series vs GS 2 years ago but damn...3 and 6 is awful.

Go back to the BJ video. LeBron is a facilitator. MJ was a finisher.
