Seider has the stain of that Mac staff on him. It’s not like our running game or running backs were stellar under him. I’m sure he’ll do better in a better run program, but he’s not that special.

The whole idea of being a not great position coach but great recruiter I don't get. What exactly are you selling if the part you do the most you don't do well?

He is a great position coach and a great recruiter, rare breed.

Remember the years before when everyone was mocking our RBs never being in the right spot and being uninterested in blocking? Then Seider arrives and immediately everyone is better, even true freshmen?

I guess his 247 rating of 91 and the top score being 97 is mediocre to some, but it seems pretty good for 9 coaches times 128 teams. But that is just me.

I cant even find any of our Cowbell crap on the list.

Sorry to use 247 but they are the only site to track this...

Seider is higher than anyone on our staff.

I’m not saying “we didn’t need him anyway”, I’d rather he was still at UF. It’s just that we’re turning a lousy page that he was on and him moving on is not that big a deal. I’m sure he’s a good recruiter, but even by the list 247 made he is only credited with 2 Gator signees, one each of the last 2 years and neither of which has done anything except a little jail time.

:lmao2: Really? You didnt notice Seider was the one sent to seal the deal every time?

Our recruiting finally picked up the day Butterteeth hired him and it fell apart the second Mulkinz ran him off.

Is Vince Lombardi? Of course not. He isnt even a coordinator, but he is a top 5% coach, like Torian Gray before him.

None of the shyt we got from Cowbell is. Billy G is the closest.

Dude, turn the page. This is one of those subjects you just arent versed in. I will too. We will see if Mullinz recovers.

I'd probably take an average position coach who is a great recruiter over a great position coach who is an average recruiter.
Depends on the position but generally I agree with the sentiment.
