And I had a 2008 Chrysler 300C SRT-8. It was an awesome 425-HP beast and was a blast to drive.

I like what they've done with the new 300C. Has an Audi feel to it.

And a 2000 Corvette for a while. This was my first, and it was a 6-speed.

When I taught son #1 to REALLY drive (like reverse j turns, pitting...) last year, I did it with a friend’s STI (the reverse j’s, not the pitting! ;) )
Blue with trademark gold BBS wheel.

I wouldn't mind picking up this generation SRT-8 in the future. Possibly the near future. You can get used ones now for 20K.

The equivalent of 15 Ford Explorers.

Are you in this pic?

Posing in front of the Porsche 935 driven by the late Peter Gregg. I went to work for him right out of UF and spent time helping prep this same car for IMSA events in '79. Peter had a race garage in downtown Jacksonville.

My son and I were walking the grounds of Sebring during the 12-hour Rolex endurance event a year ago when we came upon the car in a museum. It blew me away.

I've been asked what kind of weird hat I was wearing. It's actually my UF hat on top of another one given to me earlier in the day.

That’s you? Weird. For some reason, I thought you more closely resembled the HBC...

I drove my mom's yellow '71 hardtop Mustang with the 351 Cleveland throughout high school. Very fast car. I needed a car for college. My dad sprung $500 for a '67 Ford Galaxy 500 convertible, same color as in the pic, though without the puffed-up wheels.

First thing I noticed was the portable stove on the floor behind the driver. WTF. I figured out fast why it was there. It was holding up the driver side of the bench seat. The car was a beater.

390CI of pure American muscle. I just drove from one gas station to the next. I finally got rid of it when the carb sprung a leak and gas was spewing straight up like a geyser.

Those were some good old days.

That 390 made some power.....My Dad had a 66 that looked just like this car and I can remember him getting on it a couple of times when I was young. He ended up giving it to my oldest sister and her husband who traded it for a Vega I believe sometime in the late 70's......
