On board what? I just posted where we are currently ranked....nothing more, nothing less. It is what it is.
Yes, and it's completely meaningless right now, especially since these players haven't seen a single snap of Mullen-Head-Coach Gator football.

Oh, I agree. But it's sobering looking at those rankings. We have over 1/3rd of the class committed already. I think we close w/ several top kids, enough to get us into the top 15 (I'm sticking w/ my prediction of 12th - I hope it's higher). I was skimming through the 247 top 100 and we could land 3 or 4, which would be a big improvement over Butters. We could end up w/ 4 to 6 top 50 Florida kids as well. I'm sure we whiff on a few...but get a few. 12th will be pretty good w/ the slow start.

I agree, however I’m baffled that the train wreck vol$ are ranked ahead of us after hiring a rookie head coach who was their 17th choice. That entire coaching search and AD hostile takeover was such a disaster, I wondered if we were watching the end of ut football. How are they getting ANY recruiting success right now?

Just posting this for something to discuss in the long off-season:

LSU has offered Doug Nussmeier's son....and Deion Sanders son, both are 2021 QBs (the article says UF has also offered Sanders):

https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/l...-extends-scholarship-offer-deion-sanders-son/

LSU appears to be very interested in offering scholarships to players with bloodlines in football. First came an offer to 2021 quarterback prospect Garrett Nussmeier, son of veteran SEC assistant coach Doug Nussmeier, and now the Tigers have extended an offer to the son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.

Like Nussmeier, Shedeur Sanders is also a 2021 quarterback prospect. Sanders eagerly shared the news that LSU has offered him a scholarship over the weekend. A native of Cedar Hill, Texas, Sanders does not have a recruiting ranking at this time but he does hold offers from Florida, Florida State (his father’s alma mater), Baylor, Louisville and Oregon among others.

He threw for 2,360 yards, 34 touchdowns and only eight interceptions for Trinity Christian School last season.

I agree it's surprising that they're ahead of us...but I'm not surprised Pruitt is doing well recruiting. Think about his resume:

- HS football coach
- Alabama recruiting staffer/analyst
- Alabama DB coach
- FSU DC (wins national title)
- UGA DC
- Alabama DC

He's been recruiting blue-chip players since he got back into the college ranks - at Alabama, FSU, and UGA. Every HS in the SE knows him, or who he is. Additionally, he brought in an Alabama style recruiting staff (like Kirby Smart did at UGA). He just continued recruiting the same kids, the same schools, working w/ the same HS coaches that he was doing at UGA, FSU, and Alabama...but instead of saying "Come to Alabama", he's saying "Tennessee".

It seems Mullen has made the offers to the bigtime blue-chip players, but he's still recruiting a lot of the blue-collar MSU type players. He landed 12 blue-chip players in his first class, which is more than he ever landed at MSU. I think he's making the effort...he just hasn't seemed to close on as many as we'd like.

We got us a fu*king NCAA football created player fellas. Dude was built in a lab and since Frank's throws 10 feet over his receivers heads at times this dude should be able to reel in a few of those instead of the other team

Well, after visiting Alabama last weekend Billingsley says they now lead.... We just hosted a kid who's top offer is FIU (Julius Pierce - who doesn't even have a 247 profile). So, I suppose it's a Plan B offer since we could very well miss on Billingsley and Zipperer. Ethan Rae is still in the picture, but he's a west coast kid.

He did not like the fact that we signed Krull, even though Krull is not in the same class as him. He thought we'd wait around while he took all his visits and possibly be left at the altar. F' him and Zip. You f' around for too long and somebody will take your spot.

I would take Krull over Billingsley based on their tape

I would take Ethan Rae over Billingley based on tape and the fact that Rae actually has a college level body. Billingsley has a HS receiver's body.
Agreed on Rae as well. Billingsley wanted that Alabama offer too. Looks like everything is going to sort itself out.

I would take any 2 of Rae, Zipperer, and/or Billingsley.

Zip wants to go out of state. Sometimes it helps to get away from bad influences, hangers-on, "handlers", etc.

He's also a teenager....so that could change on a whim. He's been a UF lean for a long time, I'm holding out hope. If we miss on all three of these kids it's not a good look for UF recruiting. The big kid that just visited, Pierce, looks solid...but could end up along the OL if he gains too much weight (he's already 250 going into his Sr. year of HS). I'm not sure what the next option is after him.
