That’s fair and reinforces the point: when Emmitt was playing, you trusted the sports writers to select the Heisman and he wasn’t chosen. My guess is that Danny and SOS feel into the time period that you trusted the journalists. Maybe not Timmy but come on, he was a slam dunk! Your argument would hold more sway if the most recent statue was erected for a Gator Heisman in the last few years - not a decade ago.
Emmitt finished 7th in the voting his last year. 7th? Hell, as a freshman he finished 9th.
