If Grossman had rightfully won the Heisman in 2001, would he have a statue?

Grossman was royally screwed by voters who refused to give a sophomore a Heisman, something that was never done until Tebow did it. His stats were far superior to the winner, that idiot at Nebraska.

Had he won, and then been awful under Zook again just like he was, would he have a statue next to the other three?

Discuss.

Heisman quarterbacks don't go out for passes.

I would hope so, since he would have met the objective criteria.

Zook was probably better at mopping floors than grooming quarterbacks.

I imagine Jason has a slightly different spin.

Hell Zook needs a statue. I heard he was the perfect transition coach.

Ive also heard he was the only reason OBC or CUM ever won here.

What I alluded to earlier. Just to give you an idea what a master tactician Zook was, he has a pair of DEFENSIVE BACKS execute an end-around before Vernell Brown launches a Hail Mary somewhere toward Grossman in the adjacent area code. 5:17 mark on the video.

Last play of the 2003 Outback vs. Michigan. Shockingly, we lost 38-30.

I think we should give every former player one.

The Texas Longhorns tried something similar to this and ended up with an awesome thread about it on one of their message boards. Unfortunately a lot of the photoshops originally in it are gone now, but still some good ones up.

Yes. The awfulness was on Zook, and everybody knows it. He could assemble talent, he just couldn't do anything (good) with it.
