Top 60...

as if that is a good thing.

my God how weve fallen.

We just want a guy who can take top 20 talent... and make a top 60 team.

:lmao2:

I didn’t say that it was a good thing I’m just saying it will be better than the shyt we have had to endure in the Moosedump and Butter eras.

I'll say it. Top 60 is good.

It's 64 slots better than 124th.

I didn't like the hire but hope he can turn things around but this recruiting stuff has me losing faith quickly.
Let's just hope that he finds a way to bring some excitement to the field, and perhaps that will bring in some top recruits. Otherwise, we're ****ed for the next four years. And that's putting it mildly.

Someone told me that Franks will be the guy also.I just think that many UF fans were really frustrated by Franks's weakness in quick thinking last season. Basics like getting rid of the ball or running out of bounds for a loss when all he had to do was throw the ball away. Franks has an interception issue also.

We have had an uncommon run of QB disappointments. It's time for a miraculous turn of fate.

Franks looked horrible last year, we all agree. Theyve all looked like shyt. What is the common denominator?

Did you ever listen to Quiverlips and think dafuq is he talking about? Is there any doubt that the players had no fvkking clue either?

Franks looked terrible. I wasnt surprised and told you before the season he wasnt ready so I expected LDR or even Zaire.

It isnt his fault he was forced to play too soon.

Remember Danny Wuerffel's first year, RSFr? Think he was even going to be an acceptable backup? Neither did I. Odds are still against Franks but waot and see first. This system is much better suited to him. Hell Butters offense isnt really suited to anyone. That is why his QBs always had trash numbers.

If Franks sucks again, Mullinz isnt invested in him. It will be quickly self correcting. This isnt 2012 w Chimp and Drisktard when you KNEW the HBC would keep playing a terrible QB regardless of how he played.

Are you talking about the Danny Wuerffel who:

"There's Danny Wuerffel of Florida, who set a National Collegiate Athletic Association record for freshmen last season with 22 touchdown passes,"

https://www.washingtonpost.com/arch...2d2-a969-26bdbb1205d0/?utm_term=.3e91d0be4e13

When you say you didn't know whether or not the guy who set the then NCAA record for TD passes as a Frosh "was even going to be an acceptable backup," you are revealing a lot about you and nothing about any of the UF QBs you are discussing, old or current. It is statements like the above that cause people to think you are either a pessimist generally or just negative about UF all the time.

I hope you are right but I don't see it happening myself as Franks has looked lost since he started the high school all star games.

The mistakes he makes are the definition of Driskeling. I just hope Mullen puts the freshman in sooner rather than later. I will be happy if Mullen gets some decent recruits and the new QB some decent playing time.

Are you talking about the Danny Wuerffel who:.
On an almost daily basis, with things like your inane acronyms and such you make people here people here think youve never watched football. Yes, there were many who thought Wuerffel wouldnt make it because of his multiple int games like three in a row in the second half that nearly costs us the game vs Kintucky, and other multiplenint games that resulted in him getting pulled.

Saying a QB set a record w SOS isnthe ultimate "no duh" moment.

Btw, I didnt have a preference on the Dean v Wuerffel thing, but many did.

I suppose you were impressed w Treon being freshmen All SEC also.

Imagine today having an offense that would easily be #1 in the country with Dean, Wuerrfel or Kresser on the field?

And here we are with 78 looking forward to anything better than 100th.

I forget that you are at least partly a UAL suck up greatly offended that I don't call them the Tide or Capstone or something.

For your excuse making information, actually UF fans know that:

1. Wuerffel threw 10 picks his RFR.

2. 3 of those picks were against UK in the second game of the season, leaving 7 picks for you claims above.

3. Wuerffel was hurt for the FSU game and bowl game against UWVa.

4. You are actually a fan of UAL or someone like that and hence your constant trashing of UF on this board, including your weak claim that UF fans in 1993 did not believe that Wuerffel after setting the NCAA record for TD passes as a Frosh would develop into more than a backup.

Stfu.

You embarass yourself and this board on a daily basis.

We should have higher standards.

So first you had to give my post a dislike. Then you had to quote it and swear at me. At the same time you had to engage in transference.

The idea that anyone has embarrassed themselves more on here than you is frankly amusing. Heck in general you seem to post in good fun, but you like to be edgy and of course edgy leads sometimes maybe frequently to embarrassing. That is part of what we like about you though it does lower our standards around here somewhat.

And you are still stuck with trying to make someone do something you can't make them do. You can not make me honor your school UAL by calling them any of your pet names. You can't use Franz Beard like nicknames or spellings such as Kintucky in this very thread and demand that I use only the abbreviations you approve of.

Edgy can be funny. Obsessive is not. I sure hope you are not this way with the women in your life, if there are any. If there are not, perhaps there is a clue lurking here about somewhere.

Franks is worse than driskel. I'm sorry you can't see that. I still love you though

United AirLines - one of the worst airlines out there. I’d never take them to fly to UoWVa.

Mullen will treat Franks similar to Tebow early in his career, give him a quarter of the field to read if not there, run. Not saying same ball park in mental skills (mostly nowhere near equal in maturity). But unlike Nuss, who was forcing Franks who was too raw coming in as a Freshman to read the entire field with receivers who couldn't run routes at all. I expect our receivers to have the ability to run routes (something that has been missing 7 out of 8 years), and Franks not to be asked to read more than he can handle. That still means the ceiling to our offense will be low, but I do expect Franks to look better because he isn't going to be asked to do as much.

This is a good point you make about Mullen simplifying the offense for Franks, which I got to believe he will do. I just think Franks will still F**K it up.
