After coming home from New Hampshire with nothing but our d**k in our hand, we clearly panicked and stopped asking questions. And then we decided to spend $50M on baseball. My guess is we could have brought Kelly home for much less than that.

I know your joking now but by time 2020 rolls around this will be what everyone is saying. Logic says that if you recruit like your at Miss St then you'll have the same kind of outcome as Miss St. Our ceiling is 9 wins, hope you're all happy with that. I'm afraid Strickland will be ok with 9 wins and a top 15 class every year. It will be up to the fans to demand a change be made and it might come with him going as well.

I think the biggest thing this staff needs to change is the lack of pressure they are putting on recruits. I’ve read several times that they encourage players to see other schools and to really not make a decision until they are truly ready to be gators. That is like your girlfriend telling you to sleep with as many other woman as possible and when you’ve had enough come back and propose marriage.

Will we win one or two of these 5 stars ornupper 4 stars, like EJ.... but we will also be stuck taking FIUers in December for all the ones we whiff on and find that the 4 stars and even most high 3 stars are gone by then.

I guess our staff taking most of June off and waiting for the bluechippers from the mighty BBQ to land wasnt the best idea.
New excuse: they arent stargazers and we will be fine with some more FAU talent 4 win crap.

The biggest joke in recruiting is Smart has grabbed like four Rivals 5 stars from Florida while we have none from the state of Florida since he has been the coach at Georgia.
That is pathetic when you really think about it and shows just how much of a joke Mac's recruiting was. Mullen needs to turn that mess around right now or we are going to be in a bad way for some time to come.

The reason these top recruits aren't committing is because UF has been a dumpster fire for nearly a decade. It's not the same UF that SOS forged and branded and certainly nothing like short-lived Meyer era.
We desperately needed a home run hire this time and didn't get it. And without that, we are even more desperate for some great recruiters and it doesn't appear that we're getting that either. I hope that it changes--but we are needing a miracle at this point.
