I just don't remember "Failing Up 101" be offered as a course when I was in college.

How is being a staffer without even a position title "falling up" from being a HC making 5 mil a year?

He's getting paid for doing less. He's still in football, likely just killing time till the next opportunity. Not bad imo.

Well, he was getting paid regardless, thanks to the silly contract Arky gave that loser.

The article says he works from 6a to 9p, which I absolutely believe given what I've heard about the NFL lifestyle. It sure isn't doing less.

His time at Arky leads one to believe, like Butters, that he didn't have much of a work ethic. His teams had one or two good games a season and 10 that looked like they hadn't practice. Freeze and Butters were the same way. This is poor game prep and work ethic.

This article about him loving "just football" implies "not recruiting" which makes sense bc he was the worst recruiter in Arky history. No wonder he didn't like it.

and kitchen counter, sofa, balcony, barstool, shower....hell the possibilities are endless with something you can carry around in one hand as easily as a loaf of bread.....
Bar, barstool, bathroom at the bar, in the car behind the bar. I'm sure.

Probably a lot of truth to that. It was kinda baffling how he would beat Freeze and Miles who had more talented teams top to bottom almost every year and then sh!t the bed against teams like MSU and Mizzou, and then play Bama and TAMU pretty close. I believe he actually had a golden shot at a 10 win season in 2016 but lost a 20 point lead against Mizzou in the 2nd half of their final game and did the same in their bowl after jumping out to a big lead. I guess 8 wins was his ceiling.....

I do think in retrospect that he opened a lot of peoples eyes on this board in late 2016 to how bad of a coach Butters was when he embarrassed him 38-10 while playing mostly walkon's on defense….

What he loves is not being a head coach where the buck stops. He's a clock puncher. If the US government had a football team he would be the coach. Think Amtrak versus Japanese super trains.

I wonder how much longer his wife will hang in there with him before she leaves and takes him to the cleaners in court? Pretty soon he won't be able to fit through a doorway.
