Where might we rank, if we had Grier coming back ? What might that do to our recruiting classes ?

He is in a better place for himself, and him not being here doesn't hurt us any.

My guess is WV will be like they usually are and pass for a crazy amount of yards while losing 4 games or so. A passing record may be set since they are supposed to have a bad defense even for the Big 12 this season.

I do think they destroy Tenn that first game since Tenn is such a wreck right now.

OK, sorry I pointed that out, but Grier would bring higher success to any team in CFB. No HC (but Mac) would fail to capitalize on Grier's rare skill. Isn't Grier bringing positive national media buzz to the WV program as well as getting teammate players mentioned nationally?

What makes you think that? He took a team that the previous season was an Oklahoma win away from a Big 12 title to mediocre also ran status. I forgot he threw for a ton of yards however.

Law, how can you credit Leak with running Mullen's offense well and then claim Grier wouldn't have? We're never going to find out, but your thinking makes no sense. Mullen would have ramped up the pass plays just like he did in 2015.

Don't care about Grier, just his QB results. Just wait to see how that CFB player's fame compares to the other QB leaders in the nation. Does he draw any Heisman attention towards his school's program? Will he command some noteworthy upsets?

I've never said Leak ran Mullinz offense well. Mullinz didn't know what the fvkk to do with a QB who wasn't a runner first.

The only game that went well was the 06 OSU, but we didn't run anything like what we had been running the rest of 05 and 06.

I'm over it, it's done let's move on.....but a small part of this long time UF fan wonders what could have been with him at QB, our current offensive skill position players(WR) and offensive line with multiple returning multi-year starters....But I truly think he is in a better place for his skillset and Mullens system hopefully finds it's perfect fit QB before the lynch mob mounts up....Maybe we'll get to play them in some mid level bowl game at the end of the year....

The verification will show in this 2018 season, further testified to by the NFL draft. Personally, it matters nothin' just follow-through as verification of predictive evaluations. At that time, call me out & I'll humblize over my stupid thinking.

He will be a real high draft pick that doesn't become a good QB in the NFL is my guess but West Virginia will be destroyed once they play their November schedule and will be looking at another Cactus Bowl level bowl game under Grier's leadership.
