As I said above, ever since he started coaching special teams in 2014, MSU ranks first in the SEC in blocked kicks and punts with 14, including two last season by Jeffery Simmons. When was the last time we blocked a punt or a kick?

mehhh the truth is i will take some blocked punts even if we don't return well.

hell we havent had anything functional for a while.

I dont give a rip if he brought knox to be STC. Running of Seider was fvkking STUPID though.

And we were 103 last year and probably comparable in other years. MSU was 35th in punt returns last year! Check your stats man! And they block them. Anything will be an improvement.
MSU was 29th in punt return defense only allowing 4.78 yds/return. We were 105 with 10.93 yds/return.

Malik Davis says hello! He was a 3*. They were 11th in rushing last year. We were 75th.

He did not run him off. He was offered the TE position. I wish he did not run himself off.

I know he is a 2020 kid but good lord you think we might recruit Emmitts kid a little bit harder...

"However, according to E.J. since receiving the offer he hasn't had a great deal of contact with Florida.

“The coach that I talked to is Coach [Billy] Gonzales, but I haven’t talked to him in a while,” said Smith. “The schools I hear from most are Georgia, Ohio State, and Texas A&M.”

When you offer the current RB coach a lesser position you're all but shoving him out the door. What's seider doing? Coaching RBs at psu
TE's are very important in Mullen's offense, in stark contrast with Mullen's offense. It is not a lesser position. Maybe Seider did not want to deal with an uncertain situation. PSU was a safer choice. They might never win a title but they always have looked respectable under Franklin.

BTW did your boy Seider bring in a 5* RB last year, like Zamir White? No? Lorenzo Lingard which according to some was a silent to the Gators? No? A RB in the top 10 like Chris Curry or Asa Martin? No?Any of the 3 FL RB's in the top 10 (Lingard, Willie Snead, Chris Curry)? No? Now I really like Dameon Pierce and he will be a very good RB for us but he was only rated #13. But when you live by the numbers, you die by the numbers!:p:D

Mac got a bunch after FNL last year but all that fell apart when the season went to crap. I doubt Mullen gets a bump that big after FNL this year.

That was due to Matt Corral coming on board and recruiting guys that wanted to play with him.

As to LEO wearing his kneepads about Seider, he was pushed out. I don't know if it was warranted or not. There were some rumors flying around G'ville that Seider couldn't keep his mouth shut, so he was pushed out. If true, I can't blame Mullins, but that doesn't mean that Seider's assessment was wrong or that he was wrong for speaking up. It just means things happen and our recruiting has suffered.
