Any good things he may have done have been superseded by great lengths his complete destruction of the program. He had absolutely zero long-term vision.

Something tells me UF football will be just fine long term.
With UF being difficult academically for athletes Foley's top tier athlete academic center is a long term vision. Helps allow our athletes to be successful long term.
The basketball practice facility was the first of its kind and a long term vision which combined with his choice of Donovan brought 2 hoops national championships to a school people said could never win a hoops national championship.
Foley not going for the short term benefits of cheating like Bama has kept UF off of NCAA probation for decades.
Foley nailed his last baseball coach pick with our first national championship.
Hey Foley blew it hiring Saban assistant coaches but that damage is recoverable. When UF finishes it's planned football center we will be back on track in football to add more football national championships to the three won during Foley's tenure.
Stricklin made this decision but moving the baseball stadium and giving that land to football for its football center is a long term vision. UF football will be more than fine.
This is normally when my scalping begins......

Yeah, it’s recoverable after decades of embarrassing play. What a legacy.
We'll have to agree to disagree on this. You think Foley's pros are higher than his cons, I feel it's the opposite. I think a whole bunch of different AD's over the same period could have done a better job. It shouldn't be difficult to attract top coaching talent and deep pocket boosters for facilities upgrades to the University of Freaking Florida.
Even Foley's signature hire, Billy Donovan, was nothing but good fortune. He was cheaping out as usual and got lucky.
