Is Mullen really 2-15 all time vs ranked teams?

His arm was broken at one point and his ribs I think earlier in the year, Ole Miss maybe.

The concussion was 09, yes.

You can't run a kid 20-30 times a game and not get him hurt.
Who would ever disagree with that? You overlook the fact that Mullen has been flexible in his implementation of the offense. When EJ takes over, there'll be plenty of pass offense. The guy is a terrific passer. Mullen's no fool. He'll take advantage of it.

For example, this is a bullish!t post
It's a play on words Skink. But I'm talking about his record, not calling for his head.

Who knows, maybe he will succeed in bringing the championships he guaranteed at his introductory press conference, even if his record as a HC suggests otherwise.

However anyone with 2 neurons and a synapse can see his only hope is by recruiting elite players. So far his recruiting is very concerning.

:lmao2: yeah.... ok.

BTW, are you thinking of JJ? Bc EJ isn't the most accurate and is hardly what I'd call a passing QB. And I'd guess he is probably the worst passing QB on the roster, though we will see how quickly he develops.

He is gonna run, a lot.

Tebow got hurt in '09, not '08. The '08 offense was lots better than '07.

And Meyer wanted to run in Tallahassee in '08. Mullen said let's air it out. He persevered. We crushed FSU.

The stats say the offense in 07 and 08 were about the same and unlike 09 they both performed in the SEC schedule I think. I guess you could argue 07 had to press the ball more due to a weaker defense but you also have the 08 offense getting that defensive help to score.

Prescott's stats. Argue away.

He had two years (last two Prescott-- even if you think 3500 yards in a 15 game season is impressive, I don't really) and one with Tebow in 15 years. If you are happy with that, you have your guy.

Clearly here you do

SMH
We’re a pretty bitter bunch after the last decade of futility. Couple that with our current recruiting woes and you get some vocal fans that have exhausted all their patience. If we didn’t care, we wouldn’t be here.

Get real, man. As great as Spurrier was, two title trips, one trophy. Nebraska smoked us in '95 behind a phucking read option.

Meyer had two titles.

You love pretty little pass offenses. This ain't the NFL. It's whatever moves the chains.

No, you get many tens of thousands who turned this shyt off years ago and a few fanatical holdouts.

Six SEC trophies, bro.

Six.

Three times Creyer.

Dominance.

Beating GA, Bammer, and LSU 42-7 AT HALF time.

That's what its all about. I don't much give a shyt about rigged polls and some teams play home games against #20 teams and calling it an NC.

I'm talking about owning the only conference that matters.

It's whatever moves the chains.
It doesn't move the chains, it mostly burns the clock. And if you only move 10 yards at a time you have to do it 8 times without fumbling, which is rare with the option. It is why it is high risk low reward.

There is a reason most coaches leave that option shyt in middle school.

I’m not somone that has to have a pass happy offense. He’ll, I love a solid run game and a great defense. But when you have a solid run game, it makes an effective passing game pretty easy...especially when you’re not playing from behind.
Right now I just want to see improvement and good recruiting. We’re striking out on the latter.

You must be drunk to make that stupid of a post. The Bama that Spurrier faced was coached by Dennis Franchione, Mike Shula and Joe Kines. Little bit different now, huh?

Well Mullen does have a good argument he adjusts his offense to the QB I guess. There is a huge contrast to the passing/rushing yards when you look at 14 and 15 (Prescott) to their current run heavy QB in 16 and 17.

Also I had forget about this but our 07 offense was much more pass heavy than our 08 offense. Not sure if it was Harvin taking dump offs for more yards in 07 or something like that.

I'm not going to disagree with that, but we're arguing here on a different level. As always, it's about offensive preferences. I think sometimes too much is made of the passing game. I love to move the ball through the air, but you need more than that.

The SEC was pretty crappy in the 90’s.

Excuses.

Bammer fired those guys because we owned there asses. And if we had Chimp, Butters and Mullinz then, they would have owned that decade.
