The big thing I love with this class of LBs is the speed. These boys are fast and hard hitting. Our lb speed was a serious liability last year.

"People seem to quickly forget Florida’s close in 2018, as Mullen and company rallied for a few key wins"

We didnt close strong, we STARTED amazingly, like #7-9 in the early signing. EJ was a huge part of that and he was ALL Mullinz. The rest were mostly Seider recruits, but one could assume Clown Town not even having a staff probably played a big part perhaps.

However, we didnt finish scrong, we finished with a whimper.

Still a #14 class is a very nice transition class.

He needs to follow it up w a top five though and I just dont see that happening. Hell I dont think any pumper does either. Hell top 15 again is almost impossible at this point.

Mullinz has proven he cant win without a decided talent advantage so he better get it.

Not to mention the transfers

Anyone care to make a prediction on which of these schools we will pass in the Rivals recruiting rankings at the end?

My guess is - Ole Miss and Arkansas.

All of them. I would go into more detail but I need to go feed my unicorn pellets I've distilled from pure rainbows.

It didn't happen in July because everyone who told the staff they were coming (Steele,Pittman,Pickering) didn't...it happens!

Compared to the other two LBs committed I agree. I guess I am greedy, would like one or two more 4 stars to go with.
The outside LBs in this scheme will be listed as DEs in HS.

We dont really have a place for the 195-210 kids listed as OLB in HS unless they are fast enough to play safety also.

What part of my post really upset you and made you feel it was uneducated? Would you like me to provide you any fact base information via pm? Go ahead, I’d love to hear it.

At least everyone got to vacation in Cali for a few weeks.
I don't know how much time staff spent recruiting out there but I would like to know if they misread the signals they were getting. There is a difference between 17 year olds enjoying the attention and being serious about leaving their state. Good recruiters can uncover that so they are not disappointed and come up short at the end. I'm sure staff did not really believe they were going to pull them.... (fingers crossed).

Growing Gators

For those interested in the height and weight of the players, there’s an updated roster that was released Monday that shows some players making significant gains.

The biggest weight gain was by freshman tight end Dante Lang, who has gone from 222 pounds to 253. The second biggest gain was by quarterback Feleipe Franks, who was 219 in the spring but is now listed as 240.

Here’s a look at some more of Nick Savage’s handiwork: wide receiver Kadarius Toney (from 180 to 190), linebacker Jeremiah Moon (218 to 232), wide receiver Freddie Swain (186 to 199), defensive end Zachary Carter (263 to 277), linebacker Lacedrick Brunson (220 to 234), linebacker Nick Smith (213 to 227), offensive guard/center Tyler Jordan (309 to 321) and offensive guard Fred Johnson (311 to 330)."
