A lot of them seem to have an Al Davis-esk love for the measurables. As I recall this guy is a little on the short side, which is probably bringing him down. Driskel had good measurables. We know how that turned out.

Actually Driskel threw a game winning TD the other day, and looks like he is passing Barkley as second string for the Bengals believe it or not.

It looks like Driskel will be getting some reps with the ones against Dallas. No, there isn't a QB controversy. Barkley was never ahead of Driskel. He's complete trash. I, like every other bengals fan, was stunned they signed Barkley to a 2 year deal.

The funny thing is that was never the case until Foley started getting involved in the hiring of UF coaches. No Spurrier coached QB left and was better.

Like the argument that some QBs can’t make it at the next level cause they’re one type of player...that’s not true of a lot of QBs in the NFL “Pro style” isn’t considered a system and has offshoots but the QBs that translate not in a system are Tom Brady Flacco Rodgers Brees Rivers etc...I mean system such as at OKState and WSU or even Peterson at UW. Those are players that don’t translate to the next level typically. So yes in a sense no one can show me FACTS that differ from the norm so their opinion would be invalid to my conclusion.

There are 32 teams and 64 nfl QBs. There are like 118 Div 1 teams and 125 fcs. Every other year or so they graduate QB. They all compete for the 64 slots but only a small number are actually open per year, due to QBs, retiring or being cut.
The truth is that MOST college starting QBs dont make it in the NFL, from ANY team.
