We aren’t running with any effectiveness without the threat of a passing game. Have you missed the last 8 seasons. 9 in the box is all that’s needed for the upper half of the SEC to beat us. And our D is totally unproven.

Were you actually around in 2005? When Dan Mullen took the SEC #1 offense and made them middle of the pack.

He doesn't have a clue what to do other than find a big QB and run him up the middle.

Mullinz runs the option. That means the defense gets to pick who gets the ball. If DE goes w the tailback then QB must keep.

You winning games with Franks or Trash at QB running this offense?

Only if EJ or Kadarius are ready IMO.

Or if we switch to a more traditional non-option run game, ie the Latsko offense.

I will bet all my Oxbucks the Gators are better than 9 wins in the regular season and we beat the Girls out West. I will add to that. Over/under on the Pass/Run ratio of 51/49; I'll take the over.

I know several here have stated they won’t attend any games and others won’t even watch the games on TV. Many believe it will be a disappointing season. Some hate our head coach, more hate our entire staff and some of our young Gators are openly despised and ridiculed.

I personally cannot wait for the season to start. I love the work these kids put in and I love the attitudes they are showing. I’m going to get up there a day or so early just to take it all in. The kids are all adjusting their work schedules so we can travel as a family and celebrate accordingly and appropriately.

Can’t read too much into a game against a cupcake but it will be no less enjoyable as we roll up huge yardage. Can’t wait to get a look at some of the new guys. Hopefully we will have a nice crowd that is enthusiastic and supports these kids. Man I can’t wait. Go Gators!

Realistically there’s a lot of reason to expect a difficult transition. That’s typical and after last year it’s impossible to tell where these kids’ head will be. Being skeptical & pessimistic isn’t my way but it’s fair. Having a take on Mullen and Co. based on MSU is as well, I may disagree but that’s what makes this interesting and fun.
