I cant believe that we dont have anybody who can beat out Lewis at TE. :headslap:

If he drops another pass I imagine he drops on the depth chart.

I'm curious if any of these guys (especially Toney) will be suspended again this week.

He wasn't targeted again after the drop and neither was Raymond. The game wasn't too far gone when Gamble got his two receptions ad Krull got his. Lewis did a decent job blocking on Davis' good run while Raymond did a good job on Grimes' TD

Point is, I think the TE depth chart is very fluid. Or rotation is high.

Oh, I agree w/ you on the fluidity of the TE rotation. But when push comes to shove - and we're playing a heavy-weight, the staff is going to play who they believe in. I think Raymond will have a different role as a "TE" than the rest (he's the best mauler of the group and will be put in the game in short yardage situations or when they want to protect the QB better). Raymond shouldn't be a pass catcher - and he shouldn't have been sent on that route he ran, that's not "his" role as a TE in this offense (that's Lewis or Krull's play).

I agree. I think we are on the same page. Just figured I'd pile on with your previous point. I think this staff will be figuring how these guys play under the lights these next few weeks. Perhaps Raymond makes that play in practice, I dunno, but I'd prefer on of the bigger/more athletic guys. The issue there is the balance of cluing in the defense what you are doing based on personnel and keeping them on their toes.

It will be nice to have Adarius for kick returns. Hopefully we don't have many of those chances this week.
Getting Reese back is imperative facing Snell . UK QB's looked lost, so I imagine we will see plenty of Snell.
Jackson filled in pretty admirably on Saturday night. That was definitely a pleasant surprise.

Reese was limping pretty good on the sidelines during the CSU game. I hope they don’t rush him back, we don’t need him to beat Kentucky. We don’t really need him for Colorado either. I would like to see him back for the inbreds though.

Agree on Jackson. He played a great game. Freshman running back is a man child!! I thought he was going in cuffs after he assaulted that poor kid on the kick return.

I don't see Krull listed but I am sure he will play. Like someone else said, our TE position is pretty fluid and we will play alot of guys.
