If Meyer had the same record at OSU that McElwain had before the investigation, he would have been gone. McElwain was signing his release from UF Jan 1st 2017.
When Meyer first went looney toons we still tried to keep him because of his prior lack of losses and his great recruiting. When Meyer eventually started losing we basically told him to.look elsewhere when the player arrest mishaps escalated.

I call bullsh*t. Foley would’ve let him mail it in indefinitely.

What you see is what you get with Taggart. To pull that stunt in his first game at FSUck, should tell you all you need to know. He is in wayyyyyy over his head. I for one did not want him when MacAsshat was fired. Glad the Semi's are stuck with him.

More like Taggert should be accused of faking being a competent head coach.

This is not a place you come to pull sh!t out of your a$$. That never happend.
At Meyers second departing press conference, he stated "Jeramy knew this was a year to year thing" in his first words when he took the podium to address the future of Florida football Jeramy stated
" first let me say I don't know about any year to year thing" so depending on who you believe somebody was lying, but Foley Damn sure didn't fire Meyer.

I accuse Willie Taggart of being straight up mildewed, second rate clown shoes, with multiple Mac Sauce stains on his socks.

This is from our biggest alums. At first illness we did still want Meyer and he had good recruits locked up that UF wanted but after that things got embarrassing to UF.

Meyer had won 2 national championships for UF and was supposedly sick so UF let Meyer save face. UF's big alums were embarrassed of all the arrests and other antics and when added to the losses UF told Meyer he needed to make plans elsewhere.

While the team was embarrassing, the fans booing every UK player to go down was also an FSU-esque embarrassment. Some booing literally made no sense. When a UK player goes down with less than 4 minutes to go and UF down 2 scores (and having already blown a timeout), it’s not a strategic choice to allow the clock to stop. Yet, we had nearly 30,000 (a little more than half of those fans still there at that point) booing as though UK is strategically giving us timeouts.

I don’t think they understand the game of football very well.
