Davis should be the feature back, but I’m still good with Scarlett getting some touches. Like to see Pierce get some carries too.

My thing with Scarlett is that you are a criminal and were given a second chance, he should have been working harder than anyone on the team, but don't see it in his play. I'm tempted to think that he isnt as invested as he should be

I tend to think Davis is the best of the RBs too. I think Perine is the second best, but Scarlett is ok. I

After watching tonight Scarlett shouldn't even be out there if he cant run over people anymore. He has never had good vision for holes etc.

I was honestly surprised he just didn’t try the draft or get picked up as a undrafted player and try to make a roster that way. He’s definitely not meeting the preseason hype.

Scarlett used to get a lot of yards after contact and could carry a few defenders, I would venture to say that while he was suspended he didnt work out like he needed to

He knew he was not going to be drafted and chances of making a team as undrafted RB are slim, so he did the smart thing and delayed his career of burger flipping at Mickey D's by a year!!!!!!!

The timing of the announcement is very unusual. I'm curious what went on in the locker room after the game. Also Lemons comment in the tweet clearly takes a shot at the new coaching staff.

Thread title should say Lemons announces he's transfering, again.

No I think the title should say:

Lemons again announces he is transfering after a game or Lemons announce he is transfer after a game for the second consecutive year.

I almost thought he did this before reaching the locker room based on the timing, LOL. almost like he was given his transfer papers on the sideline. As for taking a shot at the coaching staff, many of us have been doing that since whenever Cousin Eddie got the job, rightly or wrongly.

Yep an immature kid having to face the reality that there are lots of talented people in college. Now I don't mean to sound to harsh. I was an immature kid once too. It is tough to have been the best RB around or the smartest kid in high school and then get to college.

It's one thing for fans to take shots, but for a player to do it is concerning.

Agreed and good point. But could it possibly reinforce the views that many of us had upon learning whom the new coach would be? Or perhaps he is just disgruntled?

I think he's just disgruntled. But our concerns about Mullen are valid - even more so now.

Lemons still has to finish the semester at UF, for eligibility reasons. Burning bridges isn't a good move on his part. I suspect he ends up at FAU or a 1AA.

If McElwain etal were still here, Lemon would still be behind Davis, Perine and Scarlett. He would still be saying he is transfering and blaming the McElwains staff.

I predicted it (though not this soon). He isn’t going to get many carries and he wants many carries. Somebody had to leave and I knew it would be him. That said....he is going to do well if he lands in the right spot. He is talented.
