Well here it is, Colorado State week! Why are we doing this again?
1. Face it....after last week we need a party.
2. We hate Jim McElwain with a fiery passion hotter than the sun
3. To pay tribute to our missing comrade, Jabber
4. You’ve all wondered “what is that guy/girl really like in person”?
This tailgate is FREE for all GCMB members. If you aren’t a paid member the cover charge is $127.43 (exact change only). It would be easier for you to just become a member...just sayin’.
The game is a 4:00 kickoff, so we will officially kickoff the tailgate at Noon, but I’ll probably already be into the Bloody Marys well before then. There is a small grill that might be able to use if @Gatorphan isn’t cooking chicken on it.
There will be a “Butters McElwain” dartboard, “Pin the Fin”, and assorted other stuff to do - but we mostly watch early games, eat, drink, and make fun of each other.
Wait...FREE? “How is that possible?” you ask? Well, this is a “Bring Your Own Shyt” tailgate - food, drink, chair. If you are walking, or just cheap, and can’t carry a bunch of stuff...I’m sure we can find a frosty beverage or two for you somewhere. If you can, bring a little extra stuff (beer, grandmas jello casserole, etc)to support the board vagrants.
We are located off of Hull Road in the “First come/first served RV Lot“, next to Fifield Hall. See map below. Plenty of parking. We try to stay on the west side of the lot, but since it’s FCFS the spot might get taken, so we’ll just be somewhere close.
Here is parking. It’s about a 30 minute (1.2 mile) walk to the stadium from here.
This is the biggest event since the Berlin Olympics, and if you don’t show up, I will take is as a personal insult and will never treat you with kindness or fairness again.
