This game will show better effort than last week. The roster is still depleted, but there is enough talent on the roster to win on Saturday. They were embarrassed at home, and they should be embarrassed.
We will win by double digits.
... are you saying by double digits or bye-bye double digits ?
he was caught by surprise by how badly the team played on both sides of the ball
Might I mention these "caught by surprise" nationally acknowledged 'great' teams = Heisman-lead OSU meeting up with barely squeaked-in Chris Leak's Florida. OSU was aggrandized 'cause they ran rough-shod over Big Ten quality opponents. The CFB-world was shocked.
Heisman QB Bradford, averaging nearly 70 points per game lost that 2008 NC to UF, scoring just 14 points. Nobody gave us the nod because pundits did not recognize the difference in the caliber that each team established their capabilities upon. None of those surprised coaches were busts - that NC loss was their first & only loss that year.
Ergo: if we had our great OL facing off vs our great DL, how would Coach gauge superiority? So too, with our flunky OL going daily against our flunky DL, how could coach be sure?
