My only knock on Mullen in the CSU game was...

I thought he should have pulled Franks after the Personal Foul call...and played Trask AT LEAST for a couple of series.

We will get to see how he deals with an out of control Franks in the MSU game. Its obvious Mac rubbed off on him and some others if he was pouting after the KY loss and having an attitude.

Perfect time to put Trask in WITH THE1s and 2s.

If not then, WHEN? looks like he's here to stay for some time.

Agree. How many players survive back to back unsportsmanlikes without missing a game or two, let alone a few series?

Talking smack. It was offsetting but would have set UF up big time

Mullen went off.

I wish he'd have pulled him for Trask.

The problem with this is that Franks comes off as a guy who does not care. Him showing some emotion even getting a personal foul is in some ways a positive.

My complaint is against Colorado State and Charleston Southern Mullen should have played Trask a series in the first half of each game and then played Franks one more series in the second half. Against Charleston Southern that would have had Franks play the opening series of the second half, I believe.

I think he should have done this for several reasons:

1. Trask is only one hit away from being in a game in crunch time. A bit of experiene before those games were completely over would have been a positive.

2. Franks could have been coached up some watching Trask run the offense.

3. Franks would have gotten extra second half play in each game. Note UF's offense came out and did nothing in the second half against UK.

With everything that goes on in literally every game it just seems like both penalties were a stretch. First one he was high fiving fans not taunting. Second was just jawing with an opponent. How do you call that without calling every WR-DB confrontation? They talk shyt to each other every time they lock up every game.

Both calls were BS. This is football.

Line needs to block better.

I would like to see more runs outside.

MSU is going to be ugly. Their lines a wicked good. (You know from those coaches that can't recruit)

I think why Mullen hasn’t done this is because he told Franks that he is his QB and he didn’t need to look over his shoulder. He knows that Franks is not mentally tough and may see it that Mullen doesn’t have total confidence in him. I agree with you about letting another QB get a series with the 1’s, but I would want it to be Emory, so he could get the experience he needs. Trask is just a clipboard holder(emergency QB), especially in this type of offense.

Didn't catch the one Saturday night, but pretty sure what he did against Kentucky was considered excessive celebration.

Are we still wondering why Mullinz isnt playing an option with a pocket statue Div 3 walkon HS backup?

You guys are fun. I pray we get a chance to see Trash at some point when the game isnt over already. It will be worth watching you morons crawdadding worse than when spent the last offseason begging for Franks bc ANYONE BUT LDR.

That was what was called. But the video I saw he ran to the bleachers and high fived fans. Almost all excessive celebration penalties are a joke but this one was in a league of its own. Unless I missed something I certainly wouldn’t hold it against him. It was a ridiculous call.

This is what it has come to.

The same group that truly believes every announcer in a booth is biased against the Gators, every studio host despises us, every recruiting analyst downgrades our commits and every referee cheats against us....,but staunchly defends two chikenshyt calls against our QB!!

Watch what happens every single time a WR and DB lockup. 10 times the jawjacking goes on. There is more celebrating ON the field after a fvvcking sack than what FF did after a TD OFF the field.

In 50 years of living and dying with Gator football I’ve never seen a more personally despised, vilified and ridiculed Gator player. Grown azz men calling a 20 year old Gator names. Why? Because he has the audacity to be our QB yet not good enough to meet our expectations.

I’ve long declared EJ or JJ is our future but Im down with FF as long as coach trots him out there.
