Do we really want NIU to win? If willie is truly f$u’s butters, don’t we want a few nole wins to provide some false hope?

Of course, a nole loss will still put a smile on my face.

On the Warchant podcast, they said the players are already quitting on Taggert. If they give up completely, don't they have to fire him after the season and eat the 20 million buyout?
Geez, I hope not. I want him there a long time.

I agree. The problem is, based on their 3 games so far, I'm having a hard time seeing more than 3-4 wins. I think a 3-9 gets him booted. No excuse for that whatsoever. The current narrative is this is all Jimbo's fault. Most say Taggert deserves a second season to fix things. But, I've watched every snap so far. They aren't struggling due to poor recruiting. This is all coaching.

Taggart just needs time to get his players and install his 6-6 system.

I'm having a hard time seeing him fired this year, outside of a major scandal, or felony charge (which never happens to anyone related to football in Tallahassee). The narrative there the first couple of years will be the same as it was @ UF when muschamp & mac took over, it's the previous guys fault. He'll see at least the start of a third year.

I'd like to see him slightly improve next year to 5-6 wins so they offer him a contract extension.

He can lose this week. The more losses the better for the kids on the fence recruiting wise. He isnt getting fired this year regardless. The we can hope he gets to 6-6 next year to keep them from an incredibly quick firing.

Plus, it appears he already has another career lined up.

Football's just a hobby at this point.

It's definitely all coaching. And a terrible OL (sounds familiar). No way the Taggelwain gets fired anytime soon:

Taggart signed a six-year, $30 million deal to become head coach at FSU. He will be under contract until January 31, 2024.

If Taggart is fired by FSU at any point, Taggart will receive 85 percent of the remaining compensation left on his contract. The payments would be made on a monthly basis over the remaining term of the contract.

I picked NIU and would’ve even if I wasn’t getting any points. The clowns suck out loud!

By the way, the USA did a re-rank of all 130 schools after 3 weeks and they STILL have the clowns ranked ahead of us.

This isn't even a question as to whether or not they can cover the 11.5 point spread - can they actually win the game?
Discuss.

It should be a real offensive barn burner. NIU has mustered 13 whole points against its two Power 5 opponents this year. That's sounds like good news for FSU until you realize that is 3 more points than FSU has scored against Power 5 schools this year. I can't see any way the clowns could possibly lose this game. That being said - Willie will make a way.

9-6 NIU wins with a walk off homer...er...field goal.

The way these HC contracts are going, someday a University is going to blindly hire one who gets his full buyout with no reduction if he gets a new HC job after firing = so that HC is gonna see that "I will get my FSU $5mill plus the added $4mil from my new job. Why would that HC strongly care if he performs well?

My favorite teams every week are the Gators and whoever is playing FSU & Georgia. That's the case in any sport all the time. Goooo Northern Illinois!!
