Where do you get this? Please provide links

Anyone with even the slightest eye for talent knew he wasn’t even the best qb on the team. Brissett was. But that said....he was much better than he played here. He needed coaching and didn’t get it.

We are # 92 total offense right now and we are normally around # 60 or so and falling at this point when we play a couple of cupcakes in the first 4 games. The turnovers and STs have jacked our scoring numbers up a ton. I guess an argument could be make it has dropped our yardage also but # 92 is still pretty bad with our schedule so far. It might take a mini- miracle not to be in the 100s again.

IDGAF about total offense. Scoring is all that matters. I agree we have a long way to go and Mullinz puts a lot of low ranked offenses on the field even after being at a program for a while so this shouldn't surprise us anyway.

1) No
2) Chump was a sham from the start
3) See #2
4) Had we kept Grier... Mac would've had ruined him.

Are you saying we should wait and see? Good advice Concrete Obvious.
Boy looks who's back on the bandwagon.....good to see ya again Threat.....Oh and B.S on you and your Butters love. Should I bring up post FSU 2015 game thread comments when you told me how wrong I was about Butters not making it???

Yeah, there was A LOT of Butterlove going on here in dis bytch. Lots were taking shots at the chin of those of us who called out his terrible recruiting and coaching.

But time to let it all go. We are all Gators here, except for Omar and Kev.

You did some in past years if I remember right - once some losses started anyway

:britney:

If you are scoring 40 points, the losses don't come.

Weve never had a high scoring offense with low total offense. We have had a high total offense with no scoring ie Daz and to a lesser extent Hamburglar.

2015. Dude that was last century.

I'm still not clear though. Are you saying we should wait and see or not?

September around here is a time for braggadocio chest thumpers and finger pointers to come out of the woodwork....November tends to see a lot of "Selective Memory Syndrome"......

I'd love to spar with you. I really would. But we know that goes no where what with your hard head and everything. You'd bring up every stupid thing I've said. I'd bring up every stupid thing you've said. I don't have time for it and Super Troopers is on HBO.

Just a quick question.... How are you supposed to put up big numbers stat wise when your ST and D are give ng you the ball in the other teams territory constantly? Have to say, others are right... Score matters more.

Total offense really doesn't mean jack squat. Its a statistics thing. We have only run 230 plays in 4 games. Contrast that to Texas Tech who has run 378 plays in 4 games. You don't get to run a lot of plays when you get the ball on the opponent's 30 yard line. If you want a statistical comparison that makes sense, then look at yards per play. We are 29th in the nation. Which doesn't mean we are great, it just means we aren't terrible. There is much work to be done but if you don't see some obvious improvement in this squad compared to the last few years I don't know what to tell you. Just in big picture terms, we look like we are all on the same page most of the time instead of scrambling around with one second on the play clock to get the snap off with half the team not knowing what the play is.

Plus Mullinz has always run a very slow tempo offense. We will never rack up a lot of yards or run a lot of plays.

Through the Muschamp/Mcelwain years, even when we were set up with easy field position or we got a turnover, we couldn't get it in the end zone. It just always felt like drives ended in FG attempts or punts. Now I just feel like we're going to get it in when we're down in the red area. We have a ton of playmakers that can score from anywhere on the field now.

I would like to see Toney get more touches. He looks like he has been running with something to prove.

Just like everyone else, I want to see Pierce get mote touches and earlier in the game. He's had a couple next level carries. I love how Pierce so far looks like he always falls forward. Also love how he kept the jets going on those two long rubs even though nobody was even close to him. He didn't let up at all until he crossed the goal line.

This is a part I have no problem admitting we are better for sure....the rest needs a larger sample size against teams with a pulse. Nice to see them stay composed on the road though. Hope next week is the same.
