This game reminded me of the 2010 game. Mullen knew they weren’t scoring again, and said the same thing about us in that game. He knew their strengths and played away from them the whole second half.

No reason to make a mistake and give them momentum, he knew they weren’t doing jack shyt against our D. I’m so pumped right now

Stop being such a retard. It matters when you beat them and you know this. The same reasoning you touted his mediocre winning percentage against ranked teams at MSU
He has done a pretty good job w the scraps he was left.

Hard to run OR pass on offense w no O line.

Is it just me or do our lined seem completely OVERMATCHED early then do better late in game.

Seems like superior conditioning on our part.

Agree. It seems foreign because we haven’t seen it since we left Atlanta in 2009. On all fronts, we are sound, and will only get better with time and talent.

As good as the Mullen hire is looking right now, the Savage hire is the crown jewel of this staff.

Seems like these kids have bought in to Mullen, Grantham and Savage.

Yep it was almost like a feeling out process. Saw what they liked to do, made halftime adjustments, and went for the throat in all facets

The offensive line played pretty well overall tonight.
I think it was playcalling. We made great halftime adjustments on both sides of the ball. To me, that was difference in the game. The players executed and they’re believing in this coaching staff. We haven’t seen that in a loooooonng time.

There were only a couple of headscratchers, as far as play calls, in the game. With Butters and Nuss, every play call was a head scratcher.

...what we needed right now. Maybe not what we wanted, but what we needed.

He has this team playing like a team. I would like to see less mental mistakes, but hopefully that will come as the season progresses. I also never thought Franks would be serviceable.

Dan Mullen is a legit SEC Coach!

Maybe not the 2nd coming but the best we've had since Leyer.

Dan Mullen is...
...a coach who can install an offense and call plays that do not highlight our weaknesses, but take advantage our strengths. Our oline has been absolute hot garbage for the past ten years, but Stain and Dump could never create an offense/call plays that took pressure off of our line, put the QB in a position to succeed and get the ball in our play makers hands.

Mullen is building a solid foundation and if he can recruit well to address our needs, the future is very bright.

Yes they did. Other than Fred Johnson's false starts.
Lots of noise when we were on OL and if Fred doesnt get a quick start he is too slow vs many linemen.

He seems like a great kid who gets the most out of vwry limited physical skills
