I've been on swampgas since 2010, though I don't post a lot. I have been careful what I say there, because there is always a chance of a ban if the comment is perceived as being too negative.

Drama threads like that are usually snuffed out quickly. I'm surprised it lasted so long. They have some good posters there though. Tilly is one of the good ones.

you know, I have read his posts and part of me feels sorry for him. Someone commented they wondered if he was on the spectrum. I wonder as well. if nothing else he appears socially awkward. I dont want to pile on because who knows?, plus theres already alot of meanness between humans.

Can I just point out that this place is now a bona fide rival to Gator Country, to the extent that they now refer to it as "the other site" (TOS)? This place has only been around for a few years.

I don't think anyone disputes that GC has been the biggest Gator fan forum for decades and has really only been challenged by large-network sites like Scout and Rivals.

So props to Ox for building up a successful independent site from virtually nothing. That's harder than it sounds.

Agree this site is definitely a rival. But "TOS" is used on several message boards when referring to any site other than the site you're posting on.

I actually went over to Swamp Gas and found a "favorite" among the Gator Chatter members on this board, L Boy. He did mention he was perma banned here. He also brought up Swonky and his "100,000 posts."
