It's all good.
Dad's got it going this evening. I like his spunk.

I was esp impressed with the rousing greeting he was given per below.

It is all good. In good fun.

I agree the new rule that gives a penalty to the whole team needs to be revisited ! But I stand by that this team still needs to work on discipline play . Throwing punches &body slamming players had no place on a championship team . I'm a proud gator grad and I want our players to play their hearts out without that kind of garbage

Of course they do, but your original post was way over the top. My entire family is Gators, my ex-wife, three children (one with two degrees) so almost nobody wants my Gators to be within the rules than me.

Do you support all those other sports that are great, especially female ones?

At the Olympics, I like the big downhill ski jump thing. partly because I just think it's cool and partly because I keep waiting for someone to do that whole Wide World of Sports thing where they crash and go over the edge. But I also like boxing at the Olympics. What sport do you like?

Gern, it's gotta be Ribbon right? Certainly no personal fouls there.

That is a good one. I consider that event ‘try not to crash’.

I like bobsledding. Everyone has to work in unison, and nobody can figuratively lose their head or they risk actually losing their heads in a wreck. It takes sound minds and being in control of one's emotions in order to win gold, and the entire team must stay cool, calm, and collected under pressure.

Ever see Cool Runnings?

Also, did you know one of the Nascar team owners did a bunch of R&D on the design of a sled and came up with a wicked cool version that was very effective. Gant IIRC.

Also, did you know a shyt eater by the name of Hershel Walker was on a sled team?

Of all the games to be angry this is it. Angry as hell. It's the leg humpers. The list of leg humper sins and heart breaks is so long it could fill the Library of Congress.

Play pissed, every snap. My version of pissed is that you are the enemy and I am going to out smart, out hustle, and out play your ass. When I'm tired, I'll remember how pissed I am. I won't be throwing punches but I'l be focused on every possible way I can beat you. You've heard of 110% effort. Well, it's not possible. But a 100% effort is and it's rarely achieved. Now, this game, is the time. Dig deep play hard. Play 100% hard.

Focused pissed "offness" is a wonderful thing.

I was once seated next to Dooley on a flight. He was running for a Georgia congressional seat. He tried to start a conversation. I ended it quickly by saying "I'm from Florida". If there'd have been another seat, I'd have moved.

I did. In fact now that you brought it up, I feel like our coaches and players could learn a lot from the movie Cool Runnings and how to conduct ourselves better. I made a little illustration if you don't mind humoring me for a minute:
