Be honest Gern...

You’re the house that gives out little sample sizes of dental floss on Halloween, aren’t you?

Gern, you need to post with more discipline. This thread is embarrassing. Quit while you’re ahead and just accept the fact that the topic was a bad idea. You should consider taking the full bye week to practice hard and execute a better thread next time.

Never saw Coach Mullen lose control, the WWF take down was stupid, the block on the punt return would have been legal and considered a hell of a block a few years ago.
Mullen is smart enough to clean things up a bit if he needs to but I for one love seeing this team play with a fire in their eyes , I wouldn't tone down a thing............Just keep bringing it Gators!

I used to think that ice hockey and boxing were my two favorite Olympic sports, but I now realize that there is too much opportunity for "anger management" issues, so I'm going with a non-contact event, where you really only compete against yourself for the most part, and there is no contact... the decathlon.

You might ask what my favorite Olympic decathlon moment is? If you did, I'd say the 1976 Summer Olympics where John Belushi captured the gold... good times, no anger... and you could smoke a cigarette while training... which probably helped with the anger that comes with a non-contact sport!

This. Part of my reason for optimism at that point was the reaction from Mullen. He was livid at the entire first half. Even the announcers could kind of see something wrong in the lack of balance in calls.

As for the block, I’m just really not sure what Houston is supposed to do. No helmet to helmet, no helmet-lead, nothing. It’s a brutal hit only because the other guy was unaware of his surroundings, which goes against fundamentals. Maybe a strongly worded letter to the defender requesting he cease and desist pursuit of the ball carrier would’ve been more to the referee’s liking.

Some of the gator players and coaches need to learn to stay under control . It's fine to get fired up but it must be kept under control . In the Lsu game two gator players threw punches and got away with it . Against vandy Coach Mullen and some of his players lost control and it cost us losing a player for the game .It could have easily turned into a brawl that would have been a huge black eye Florida doesn't need . If the coach can't control his emotions you can't expect his players to . One more personal foul on the team would have cost us the game .I love Mullen and I love his fire and passion but it has to be kept under control . This team still lacks discipline and coach Mullen has to set the gator standard !
I think you're a liberal democrat who voted for hillary, protested against Kavanaugh and went to f$u.

Nothing funny about throwing punches body slamming players after the whistle blew five seconds before , getting players ejected ! But if you think that is funny good for you ! When it cost us a game I bet you won't be laughing !
Quit slandering my man Vosean. The opponent clearly held on while falling to the ground grabbing Vosean and taking him with to the ground giving the appearance of a body slam. Number 11 can ball out. National Defensive Player of the Week. Be glad he’s on our team.

I’m guilty of not paying close enough attention as to who says what around here. I just read and respond so I’ve been trying to do a better job of learning the posters.

So I remember gern starting off with some good posts...some old school stuff.

Now he comes in hot with this and then doubles down.

What’s going on Gern? Coach will address but I’m sure he wants them to be en fuego.

Grantham is a douchenozzle and we all knew that going in and hope Dan cans his ass sooner than later.

Outside of that, football is a violent sport last I checked. Houston wasn't headhunting, if he had, that kid would be on a slab in the morgue, he led with his shoulder.

Why do people keep saying "he led with his shoulder." It doesn't freaking matter.

That's right. You can't lay a finger on anyone who isn't looking at you now.
You certainly can. You just can't do a crackback block up by the guy's head and neck.
