The other hilarious part is that he spent 4 years here with the reputation of being too concerned with just defense, despite knowing his stubbornness would ultimately cost him his job. But just 12 months removed from his firing--and after spending the year as a Defensive Coordinator, no less--they were convinced he'd suddenly changes his ways, learned from his mistakes and developed an appreciation for a more balanced approach.
I'll give them this. They didn't really have any other options. They had a 2 month head start on every other program and couldn't even get traction with any big name. So they're really just trying to make the most of it. But I'll always remember their fans as the losers who'd do the "tomahawk chop" to us as we made our way to Williams-Brice Stadium, as if to say "we have no chance, but we know someone who will in a few weeks". Outside of red pants and barking, it was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever witnessed from an opposing fan.
