Since Pierce is demonstrably the RB most likely to take it to the house, I fear some future game we :
1) don't score enough to win. (lose a close game) Has almost happened in 2 games!!!
2) our offense isn't able to keep opponents offense off the field enough. Fewer of our drives kept alive.
3) our run-offense blocking fails to learn the rhythm for a breakaway runner.
4) the one weapon that could keep opposing defenses backpedaling is languishing on the bench.
5) by lack of gashing run threat, opposing DC can freely scheme to mess Franks' game up.
6) Pierce's frequent gashes make DBs move into LB-shore ups, leaving the downfield open for our WRs
7) These Gator linemen lose the pride of leading an intimidating, dominating run-attack.
8) these Gators have to struggle with a less versatile offensive attack.
Look, I am not over-hyping Pierce. He just deserves to be the leader of our 3-horse run attack.
