There are Gators, and then there are mercenaries. SOS is a Gator. Urb is a mercenary. Chas Henry is a Gator. Grantham is a mercenary. Gators are part of us. Mercenaries are ok, as long as they do what they're paid to do. Grantham needs to blow the Dwag offense off the field this weekend.

This is probably the best overall way of looking at it. He's a mercenary, and likely not the most pleasant person to be around. But right now he's our DC, and as much as I still struggle with it, he's temporarily at least, one of us in that he wants the exact same things we do.

And I agree that this is nothing like choosing to attend and play for uga, being a GA at Auburn, coaching defense at Lsu and being best friends with Jimbo Fisher. That guy couldn't have been more anti-Gator if he'd tried.

I also think the idea of loyalty has somewhat been watered down over the years. I love Spurrier, and have some of the best memories going to huge wins in the '90s. That said, I've also seen him be the difference in us winning the East in 2010 and possibly the SEC as a whole in 2005. He even laughed at the fact that with our offense struggling, we effectively ran out the clock on ourselves that year, and is on record saying he would've been interested in the ut job if it had been available when he was looking. Is he a diehard Gator? Of course. Is there a business element that sometimes supersedes that? The answer to that is also yes. Right now, it's business.

I’ve been one day ahead all week. You ever have those weeks?

I wish. I did have a dream once that I was at work - in the dream I literally worked all day. I woke up thinking it was Friday. Crushing disappointment doesn't cover it.

Born and raised in Virginia. Attends college at Va. Tech. Played guard and tackle at Va Tech under Frank Beamer. Coaches at Va. Tech for 5 years under Beamer. Since leaving Va. Tech he's had 10 jobs where he hasn't spent more than 3 years. But, after all that, somehow he's a dawg. What irrational dumba$$ery.

Friday is Nevada Day, it’s a state holiday. Everything is closed. No school, no bank, no mail, no nothing. I honestly believe more businesses are closed on Nevada Day than on Thanksgiving or Christmas. That’s why I’m a day ahead.

Exactly. I've been arguing that same point for months. He's a Hokie if he's anything.

Cool story, bro.

As a dwag coach, did he, or did he not, taunt our kicker before a crucial kick in a UF-vs-ball-licker game? Did he, or did he not, as a DWAG coach, give the choke sign? Did he, or did he not, get his stool pushed in by one Chas Henry, punter, who chomped his ass after making the game winning field goal?

There are some things that are unforgivable. He is on our staff, and the defense is doing well. For that, I will let the pot simmer.

Fk Jawja and anything (or anyone) currently or previously associated with them.

There's too much truth to this to ignore. He hates Mullen and the rest of the gang and has been going crazy holding it all in while UF had this winning streak. As much UGA hate he constantly brings up, part of him is rooting for the Bulldogs this weekend so he can let it all out again. The UK game was like a wonderful dream to him, he had a ball.

Hell, wouldn't totally shock me if he's wearing a red UGA undershirt under his clothes.

So Law is on the sideline just waiting to give the "throat-slit" sign on some Gator coach ?

You expected him to kiss up to us? C'mon, man, he's a competitive cuss. Take no effing prisoners. EFF YEAH.

I'm getting all riled up thinking about Saturday.

Just adding sportsmanship = immediately after the game we see opposing athletes shaking hands, patting each other on the shoulder-pads. That's the loser accepting the "now" winner.
