Unfortunately we have become that because we can't run between the tackles. So actually the solution is to throw. Throw screens, slants, curls, quick throws and an occasional deep ball to stretch them vertically. Things that Franks is not good at.
I know. I know. We've been waiting for these adjustments since 2005. It happened once, in 2006 vs Crackumbus and once in 2009 vs Cincy.

That's just fkking astonishing. He is really the only player who makes things happen, OL be damned, on this team.

How does he have 23 touches in 9 games?

This is the point, really the point of UF scheduling. Let the new guys break in against an easier opponent (and the suspended not miss a key game.) Idaho would give a Frosh QB:

1. Game experience whichi is quite different than practice experience

2. Hopefully confidence if he does well, SoCar might very well crush his confidence.

3. Have him more ready for Miami IF he wins the job next August over Trask and JJ.

Also with most season goals lost (SEC East etc) or accomplished (make a bowl game) UF should now be using these games to in part to sort out the QB mess. We need to find out first about Trask and then about JJ. Task is only a Soph himself.
I'm not saying to start him against SC, I think he should get a few series against them to see the learning curve of the SEC. If he does well while in the game play him a little more. I think he should get at least a half against Idaho and if that goes well and half against FSU. At that point if hes still showing good signs, I'd play him the full game in the bowl game.

And let's be real we clearly see Mullen dont want to play a true freshman Jalen wont see the field next year unless of injuries. Only reason Emory is seeing the field is because of lack of depth

All I know is, i agree with a tweet J retweeted from Mark Long about how Mullen isn’t a fan of these team or a lot of these players, but it is weird how consistently he stands up for Franks. Franks is the mood killer, the confidence killer, momentum killer, win killer, he needs to be gone and anyone who stands with him as our QB needs to be gone.

I was 100% confident we beat FSU and now I’m 100% we lose. Blackman just threw for 420 yards and there’s no way we match that offense blown for blow with Franks
Agreed, but I still think we've got a chance with some "key" moves.
Ff is an emotional creature whose play goes with his emotion. DM has been babying him to keep his head straight. Time for tough love.

That said the D was as bad as FF. I would agree that the D doesn’t have the players or studs we need, just like FF. We definitely need far more strength, speed and effort.

I just hope DM has not lost the locker room due to premadonnas
I don't think Dan has lost the entire locker room. I'm sure there are some questioning what's going on. Got to remember that the majority of what they're coaching were used to country club football. They haven't learned how to respond when they get punched in the mouth. Attrition and replacement will be a good thing.

I haven't seen a single comment about Chauncey anywhere. Jumping at shadows. :bandit:

You missed it. Someone posted a tweet that made it look like he was hurt and was just going to shut it down. Don’t know which thread. Check the shadows.

All I know is that if I was a coach my players would not be permitted to post on social media....period. There are nothing but cons and no pros.

You would seriously reduce your pool of recruits. Cross out all the ones who regularly post and use social media (that’s a lot of five stars gone right there). Then cross out all the guys from questionable backgrounds and you’re pretty much left with nobody. Well, not nobody, but a Vandy or Duke like roster.

I agree nothing good comes from it.

Ours seem to be particularly bad at it but that is partly why I have trouble believing the talk of a mutiny or near fight. Not a peep from any of them other than Grimes full support of FF. Time will tell.

Do you think Saban or Gruden allows Twitter? Do you?!?

Gruden's got grown men. Different situation in being able to police them.

Saban likely has 'assistants' to police his player's twitter and social media. Seriously, when's the last time you heard of Saban's players making an ass or themselves, or their team, on social media? He's working them too hard and instilling enough discipline where he doesn't have problems and have to curb their social media.

Chauncey was speaking for himself, not necessarily his teammates. Mullen made that statement for a reason.

I missed the entire opening quarter. The first thing that caught my eye when I tuned in was a seeming lack of intensity. Coming the week after the WLOCP, I can almost understand it. These kids are human.

People asking for Jones acting like he didn't look like the football equivalent to a freshman Joakim Noah. We all know how he turned out but he looked like he didnt belong on the court his freshman year. EJ looked the same in the spring and in limited action this season outside of one deep throw...
