These collegiate coaches think all that high school razzle dazzle will get you killed. But there are guys who can pull it off at every level. Toney is one and it’s starting to look like dan and the boys are now willing to play this wild card more often.

Getting your azz run over time after time in the 4th qtr is totally demoralizing to any D. You could literally see it in USC's eyes, hands on hips, sucking air. No way they were winning this game.

Speaking of 400 yards rushing, Notre Dame just rushed for 400 on Florida State. Damn it would be nice to have that kind of rushing production against those pussies at Doak in a couple weeks

i looked at the big board towards the end of the first quarter and we had minus 1 yard on offense. that means we racked up 500 yds of offense in three quarters. just think what these guys could do if they got off to a fast start ... ever.

Scarlett's runs were more reminiscent of Payton than Brown. Brown was more physically imposing, Payton the indomitable spirit, his lower body always driving forward.

And, no, I don't think Jordan Scarlett is the next Walter Payton. He just had a few runs that really stood out for effort.

I really don't remember Scarlett running with the passion he ran with yesterday. He was on a mission. It was Scarlett's best game yet. I noticed his feet pushing as he was tackled. He normally looks for an opening and dances around. He was really good yesterday.
