I saw this too...liked the part where they said its speed changed in the wrong direction (was thinking sped up when it should have slowed down, but not sure). Too bad we did not have the warp drive ready.

No joke. Not that it wouldn't be cool as hell, but someone is fishing for funding. I was hoping someone enterprising was going to push for a mission which would repurpose a probe currently in the pipeline to run it down on it's way out of the solar system. It is a pretty big deal that it seems to be the first interstellar object we've been able to observe and would have been an opportunity to maybe learn something about asteroid formation in other places, especially since it had a shape we don't tend to find in our own local space rocks.
